Either esports or the gambling thing mentioned above (first I'd heard of that).
If it's esports...oh man. I just don't think The Show is the kind of game that's suited to it. Too much stuff out of the hands of the users, etc - the kind of stuff that makes it fun to play over the course of 1 or multiple seasons, but a nightmare if you actually have something tangible on the line to play for.
And no, they're not calling Manfred out to announce the return of MVP....lol.

MLB the Show will become a multiplatform title
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
