Developers, wtf you keep adding non-existent characters while there are lots of perspective fighters in the top 15 or near it? It kinda annoying.

I actually thought it was cool to see these characters again.

Also I think you guys are missing an important part of this. I don't know for certain but if I had to guess the team adding fighters like Bishop, Frost, Dana, Bruce, ect. does NOT take away from them adding real fighters to the roster. If they are going to add someone into the game that is on the UFC roster, they probably want to wait until they can get them into their HQ and scan their faces for likeness. So when they can't get anyone in they probably give us some of these other characters to mess around with.

So basically I don't believe Bishop and Frost replaced two real fighters. They are just bonus.

These patches with fake fighters are massively disappointing for me.

After spending all month on the forums hyping up what fighters we are gonna get this time, only to be devastatingly let down.

There's a lot of solid fighters and up & comers that have been requested since day one still. If they are creating guys like this and Dana White instead, I believe people can safely say the devs took the time to make these other guys instead of high demand guys.

In fairness we hype it up ourselves. They literally don't tell us anything due to NDA's except things like "some people will be happy and some wont."

Keeping a roster up-to-date is exceptionally hard. Especially these days. Lots of turnover and a guy like Anthony Smith can go from getting knocked out on an FS1 card to rattling off three wins in a new division and being on the very of a title shot within 3 months.

Here's my take on this:
They're gradually tapering off the resources to UFC 3. Not saying they're closing the books, or running a skeleton crew, but they're finding compromises in order to put out content. example; the takedown animations that were stripped from UFC 1 instead of doing new mo-cap. Dana White, Bruce Buffer, Andre Bishop, Isaac Frost, are all characters that don't need to be created from the ground up.

That way they can bypass having the design department make a whole new character by just reusing Dana White, and hey, it got them a LOT more clicks than if they had put Thiago Santos in it.

I've also previously pointed out the manner and efficiency in which they're creating the fighters means the roster will always be outdated or incomplete. UFC currently house 600 fighters.. and I'm not sure they themselves know how to handle that amount.

Don’t mind them, but they shouldn’t be prioritised over actual MMA fighters, also, their grappling skills should be the worst in the game, even worse than CM Punk.
