As long as they don't go "alternate universe" stuff. I could stomach that with Star Trek as they handled/integrated it pretty well. And actually they are already doing that with Marvel with Jackson as Fury and to a degree with Danvers as Capt. Marvel (although she's more of a later iteration) and I get why they are doing that. But I don't think there's a need for having multiple universes and such.
