But this was a whole nother beast, because, when this happens, it's typically right as the game is loading, but, this time, it kept loading the game, then when I was about to actually play in the dynasty, it would say "This disc is unreadable" or whatever. Not even kidding, it probably took me an hour to actually get into the game and play. I was super nervous because I don't want this to stop, so hopefully, that doesn't happen again lol. I'm gonna try to keep the dynasty rolling, but we'll have to see. I have NCAA 13, so, if all else fails, I might have to start a dynasty on that game if all goes wrong.

Yikes, that isn’t good! Have you installed the game to your Xbox? That can help a lot. I only know about this because I had Ncaa Football 14 on Xbox 360 for longest time and it was scratch to hell. Wouldn’t work to well but it managed. I installed it and never had another issue. Might help.

Yeah, I'll definitely have to look into doing that. We'll see how it plays the next couple games

As a recent graduate of CMU (this past weekend to be exact, Fire Up Forever!) I was excited to come across your dynasty and see somebody repping my Chips here on the boards. Solid start to the season, a loss to a quality opponent 7 tiers above you and then an OT heartbreaker. I see promotion in the near future! Good luck with the homecoming game, get that dub.

As a side note, if you have any questions about the school, stadium, local area, etc feel free to reach out to me and I’ll see if I can’t answer any questions you have. Having lived in this area the last 4 years, and working in the athletic department for a semester on internship I know the ins and outs of CMU and Mount Pleasant pretty well.

Congrats man!! Yeah, honestly, I've always loved MAC teams and I've played with Ball State, Ohio and Toledo before, and I've been wanting to do CMU for a while now. When I saw them go to the bottom at the end of my simulation to balance out the tiers, I thought it was a perfect time to start with them.

Tough losses to good teams, that's for sure and, obviously, Michigan State is a good team, being ranked in the Top 25 and all. Felt like I easily could've beaten Northern Illinois, but the fumbles, man... they cost me.... I think the game against Georgia State should be an easy win, and it'd definitely help for our hopes for promotion

I will definitely let you know if I need some help regarding the culture of the Chippewas. Honestly, I have my first question already Do people call the Chippewas the Chips? Or did I just make that up? I hope you enjoy anything I bring forth with them!

I've loved your Portland dynasty, loved the Trappers' journey!

Yep, we do go by Chips or Chippewas. Our phrase or mantra or whatever you want to call it is Fire Up Chips! (Hence my Fired Up Forever in my previous post) that’s what we yell on game day

Yeah, I knew about the Fire Up Chips! from the Wikipedia page (you know, I have to do research lol) and I think I might have to utilize that after a big win of some sorts in the headline of the article. I find it super cool how well (or at least from what I've seen) the relationship is between CMU and the Saginaw Chippewa tribe, so I'll watch the line and try my best to not cross it when it comes to that area of the dynasty. Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry for hijacking your thread but fun tidbit, members of administration from the university, including the president, meet with the tribal council monthly to make sure we’re not crossing any lines. It’s a great relationship, specially considering the university is 100% on tribal land

No, go ahead, that's completely on topic! That is so fascinating to me that it's on tribal land, I wouldn't have thought! That's the sort of thing I love about this stuff!

Floyd kicked off the football program after participation in fight

Mount Pleasant - Junior tight end Fred Floyd has been kicked off the team after he was reportedly a part of a fight with another student after participating in part of the festivities of Homecoming Week.

As this student was talking about Floyd, Floyd walked by the student and overheard this conversation with the other student. Floyd started approaching the student and threw punches.

In addition, Floyd has been expelled from the university and he has reportedly been arrested by the Mount Pleasant Police. He could face up to a year in prison.

This is the second instance of Central Michigan players having trouble with the police, as Matt Lane and Brandon Cox were caught drinking-and-driving and drinking under-age.

I respect you for this whole idea knowing that you're going to use the editor to move ALL of those bowls around. I've done a few test runs making sure I can get the playoff to work, and even that is a decent chunk of work, so best of luck doing all the editing for all of these bowl games!

                              -------------------------------------------
Mount Pleasant, MI - After a huge win against Ball State in overtime to stop a two-game slide, Central Michigan come home to play against the 2-4 Georgia State Panthers. Defeating Georgia State could be a huge booster for the Chips in the table, but a loss to the Panthers could bring Georgia State closer to Central Michigan.

Michael Thompson, a tackle who's looking at Central Michigan, is visiting the Chippewas for homecoming against the Panthers. If James Mitchell were to get back to his "A" game, it could be a huge boost for Thompson's decision to come to Central Michigan or not.

                              Project Score
                              Central Michigan, 44-21

The Chippewas should easily beat the Panthers, as their only good team they have faced so far, West Virginia, defeated them by more than 30 points. Central Michigan has easily played better teams than Georgia State, so it should be an easy takeout-and-wrapup for the Chips.

I've done a few test runs making sure I can get the playoff to work, and even that is a decent chunk of work, so best of luck doing all the editing for all of these bowl games!
Yeah, it's definitely gonna be a lot but, in the end, it's gonna be worth it. At least I hope so lol
