Official Thread | Hotsnakes' Fictional Draft Classes
Hey there everyone,
I posted a few weeks back looking for help on this before ultimately deciding to do it on my own, but I now have two draft classes finished and ready for your enjoyment! Each class has an "Official Draft Guide" including the following:
- Top 40 Big Board with Overall Player Rankings
- Positional Heatmap - indicating how strong the class is by position
- Player breakdowns with Overall and Positional Rankings, Height, Weight, Story and Background Info, and Analysis
- "Players of Note/Stories of the Draft" quick breakdowns of players who are ranked outside the top 40, including deep sleepers and longshots
- Continuity from year to year - players mentioned in one class may pop up in another, or players mentioned briefly in the guide may show up in the class. For this reason I recommend using the classes in order and not mixing other classes in between if possible, but I know it's tough as it takes me a while to generate new ones.
- (Starting with class 3): Articles to review specific stories (how two players grew to be friends or enemies; reviewing a player's career; going through analysis of several players at a position in a weak year, profiling a college team), Senior Bowl recap
