Indianapolis, IN - The FBS toned it down a little bit this week, with only two teams in the Top 5 losing. With the crazy "big team versus big team" every week, there are only two teams left undefeated - Nebraska, who is in Tier 1 and has had one of the toughest schedules in the nation, and Cincinnati, who resides in Tier 4, at the moment.

Both Missouri and Washington lost to ranked teams this week, ending their undefeated seasons. Additionally, Louisville fell to a mediocre Wisconsin team. That wrapped it up for the teams in the Top 10 who lost, and only Louisville fell out of the Top 10 after the loss to Wisconsin. This week, heavyweights Nebraska and Washington face off in Lincoln to help decide the title race in the western end of the first tier.

| Tier 8 Conference Standings - Updated: Nov 10, 2013 | ||||||
| TEAM | REC | PCT | CONF | PF | PA | STRK |
| Central Michigan | 7-2 | 0.778 | 8 pts. | 365 | 257 | W5 |
| Kent State | 6-4 | 0.600 | 3 pts. | 281 | 242 | L1 |

| Georgia State | 2-9 | 0.181 | 0 pts. | 182 | 372 | L5 |
Akron grab their first win and point of the season with a win over Georgia State. Kent State's winning streak comes to halt, while UMass' continues after a bye week. New Mexico State slides down because of winning percentage and Georgia State continues their drought this year, even with two wins. Central Michigan, just racking up the points at this point (no pun intended), beat Western Michigan for their seventh win of the season and look to possibly grab a spot in the Taco Bell Bottom Championship.
The Chippewas look to finish off another high caliber team this week with Tier 2 squad, Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt comes off a huge win this week against Tier 1 and previously ranked Florida, so it may be a tough game for the Chips.
