Re: Penalties
Some say this isn't a problem, but every time I play with the current tuner, it's a slash/hook fest.
I think different slider sets can get you different results, but my choice was to use the 1.01 tuner. The penalties are in the normal range and there's a good variety. I make no slider adjustments and I have great games. I use the Full Sim style, though (you didn't say what style you were playing on). -
Re: Penalties
am working on it, but it really varies game to game, had (CPU) 7 - 4 (ME) and a (CPU) 9 - 3 (Me) , power plays ratio, this is on my superstar setting, we sure took too many interference penalties, I have mine set at 95, am now regretting it, might be going back to 85 very soon, but I like how its playing and stuff, just we getting blown out by aggressive AI CPU.
power plays are realistic ratio, just wow, am going to put interference at 85 now, cause I do like my checkin' and stuff, isn't that how kinda is in real life, referee's don't hardly call a interference penalties that often.Last edited by SuperGoalies; 12-18-2018, 12:18 AM.Comment

Re: Penalties
I legit just joined this board to see if it was just me. You are not alone. I am playing Be a Pro mode and seriously one period was nothing but PP or PK. I think it had 10 total penalties and that was even with simming to the next shift during it. Was really excessive.Comment

Re: Penalties
1.01, to me, plays near perfect hockey. At the very least it's very fun to play.

Re: Penalties
I have been messing with sliders and settings after every game in an effort to get the penalties into a realistic range. I tried 0/4 on the penalty setting but had no penalties called so I bumped it to 1 and it was non-stop penalties taken by CPU and my CPU team mates. So I have been slowly moving the sliders down for both those settings. Next game to be played will be at 3 and 3 so hopefully that calms it down but we will see. I could see if it was the user taking all the penalties but 95% of the ones called in the games I’ve played are opponent CPU or teammate CPU.Comment

After 1.01 the game got screwed up because the online whiners were threatening HUT micro transactions and changes were made. The problem is that the AI doesn't know how to play in the new parameters of the tuners. I guess you could try adjusting the sliders, but the game's code and the latter tuners aren't going to get along.Comment

Re: Penalties
i have left the penalties called at 3 of 4 but lowered the individual penalty sliders like slashing and tripping to 5 of 100 for human and raised the computers settings for all the penalties up about 10 -15 and i am using 1.01 for a tuner and i still have games where i take like 8 penalties but more often i find my games are averaging about 3-4 penalties for me and the computer. I have found in this game that you have to adjust the settings separately for human and computer and sometimes the difference in the settings is a lot. for example human tripping penalties is set to 5 and computer is set to 65 just to make the calls more even in the actual game.I have been messing with sliders and settings after every game in an effort to get the penalties into a realistic range.
