Raising cpu pass blocking isn't going to do much other than mess with other things from my experience. Are you using penalty sliders at all? Penalty sliders are the best way to adjust the blocking, but it also messes with other things. It's like everything is a fine line. You mess with one thing you end up having to adjust 6 other things to compensate.
