I'm surprised that there isn't a boxing only mode with or without Dana's initial foray into boxing .

It has to be in a ring tho ...and the mechanics have to be adjusted for this to make any sense .

No but i could see a boxing game as well being made if it follows the mma business model. EA would hop all over a one and done roster IF it became a big enough ip to be worth crafting merchandise. Problem ea has they buy smaller studios and shut them ddown leaving geoff working probably more hours than we know. They need to bring back EA big(ssx nba and nfl street true ea classics my friend point game has a song in nba street)

i can see it happening if its under the UFC logo. It will need to be established for at least 6 months and UFC will need some Boxers signed to use, it will either be a extension to the game or a different mode.


They might make the gameplay different and just cater to boxing controls however i cant see it happening in ea ufc 4 maybe in 5 if they extend the contract.

I keep hearing whispers of a new Fight Night in the works. Boxing is the biggest it's been in years with quite a few big names becoming popular and well known, even amongst casual boxing fans. If it is ever gonna happen, you might as well strike while the irons hot.

Also the timing of putting FNC characters in UFC to really get people thinking about it about..

Just a few weeks ago I played through the FNC story mode, then did a Legacy run, on an old xbox 360.

Man, I had sooooo much fun. That game is friggin awesome. I was just using footwork and head movement like crazy. Workin my jab, popping off 1-2s, and lead hooks. Picking dudes apart, and having a blast.

I've heard that that game actually shines offline, and can get pretty cheesy online, but still, I wish I could do some online fights in that game! Such a cool game. Never played it back in the day when it originally came out.
