New update messed up connected franchise

Im on the xbox side so I don't know if this is also is on the PS4 side or if its just my game, but since the new roster update the draft picks in connected franchise has been ruined.When you play on cloud franchise the draft picks are not how they are in real life.Every time I start it at the current week or any time earlier, the draft order has the Browns as number one instead of the Cardinals and no other pick is right.This ruins rebuilding with the game so hopefully it can get fixed soon

I also noticed this when I went to start a franchise with the conference championship as my starting weekend. The draft picks are so messed up, no one has the correct picks. Last night I messed around with it though and if you start during the wild card weekend teams have their correct picks. If your planning on taking on a rebuilding team that should work for you, if you care about the correct playoff results you could just give a force win to the correct teams each round. If you start in the divisional round or conference championship though the draft picks are messed up. I really don't know how they missed this issue.

The other thing I noticed is if you start a franchise during week 17 or actually I believe during any part of the season then Le'Veon Bell hits free agency but if you start one during any point in the playoffs the Steelers always franchise tag him. I guess it depends on whether you care about Bell hitting free agency. In real life they probably won't franchise him because of the cost, it is possible they use the transition tag on him but I think ultimately they let him walk to free agency. If he does go to free agency though be aware that almost every time the Rams will try and sign him and about 70% of the time they do sign him which is stupid and I usually end up restarting if that happens. It's annoying that there is even anger kind of logic in the game that has the Rams signing Bell.

I tried starting during wild card weekend and it still doesn't work,so hopefully it gets fixed with the next roster update

Experiencing the same issue. Wanted to clear the SB then transition to next season with the Giants but at this point, I'm just going to start from the beginning of the season and let the chips fall where they may.

Major bummer.

Start during week 17 and force win the correct results for that week and each week of the playoffs. You might not get the exact right stats because of week 17 but it will be close and everyone will have the correct draft picks. For me when I ran test franchises starting in the wildcard round I didn't see this issue.

This is what I had to do to get the right picks although the 49ers took a QB at number 3 even though they have jimmy G, even upped his overall so they wouldn't but oh well did a three way trade between the 9ers, cowboys (me), and the broncos to make it all work out.

The 49ers almost always take a QB in the 1st round in the 2019 offseason, the Cardinals sometimes do to with the number 1 pick. In the one you started who did Le'Veon Bell sign with? The thing that kills me is I'll start a franchise from week 17 and force win the right results and about 50%-60% of the time the Rams sign Le'Veon Bell. It's annoying and I usually end up restarting again from week 17. Although if you care about the regular season stats I found that starting from the wildcard weekend everyone has their correct picks, the downside to that is the Steelers always franchise tag Bell when you start from one of the playoff rounds.

But...how do I get back to Week 17? Or even the Wildcard in the Live Play Now screen?

I didn't save any previous ones (that's on me) but if there's a way to go back to it, I'm not seeing how.

I don't do it through the live play now, I start it in the franchise menu. If you start an online franchise then choose the real life rosters option then it will let you choose your start point. You can start from any week that has already happened. If you wanted to you could even do something like start from week 7 or 8 before the trade deadline and make a trade you thought your team should of made, or start from week 17 and take over a team that ended up missing the playoffs by one game and see if you can win it for them and get them in the playoffs.

Ah, wonderful! haha I didn't even try that. Ok, cool. I'll have to do that then. Also, yeah, I'm buggered when I see the Rams sign Bell. It's ridiculous that the AI would even target that level of RB. Backup, sure! I really want to enjoy this mess of a game. As the yearly adage goes, hopefully EA will get it together next year.

I haven't started my franchise yet, but I wonder if raising Garoppolo and Rosen's Overalls prior to the draft and resetting them to current ratings after the draft will negate them from taking a QB

Yea I'm pretty sure last year there was some kind of issue if you started in one of the playoff rounds. Pretty sure they ended up fixing it but not until much later.

So starting a Online Franchise over Play Now Live is the key? I'm an offline guy but I want to start at the real life point as well. If starting an online franchise is what will get me there, then I'm good.

I haven't started my franchise yet, but I wonder if raising Garoppolo and Rosen's Overalls prior to the draft and resetting them to current ratings after the draft will negate them from taking a QB

I'm kinda curious how it would change with the real draft order and team needs implemented. Going to have to test this out.
