Captain patches no longer there?

I am playing CFM as the Packers, and I know the team doesn't always wear the patch in real life. The first season I played; however, my team did have the patches and now all of a sudden in season 2 they are gone? Anyone know what may have happened? Not really the end of the world. Just kinda strange.

Did those players leave that were captains?

If you go into the roster screen and look at a player you can make them a captain and when you scroll down the list of players the "C" should show up their name indicating as such.

No, I have them still assigned as Captains and the Star is still below them on the field. Just no patch. Rodgers and Crosby are the two players who had them last year who are still captains but no longer have the patch.

Seems to be the way of this game with updates. Fix one thing, screw something else up. Though I could live with this one,....still isn't right.

Ok, weird thing just happened. Played my first playoff game and the patches are back? Do the Packers only wear them during the playoffs or is this just a coincidence?

God I wish. I'd much rather not have patches and also not have that eyesore of a star logo then have them and have to see that All Pro 2008 ripoff icon. Each season I manually remove captain status from every captain so I don't have to see it.

Ok seems like the Packers only wear the patches in the playoffs. Just started a new season and they are gone again.

Yes Packers only wear theirs during the playoffs. Same with the Chiefs.

This is the type of stuff that drives me mad with Madden! An intricate detail such as this is in Madden - Great! But..... something like a very cloudy sky when "clear" weather is chosen, or the fact that the defense can no longer pump up the crowd, etc etc (I can go on and on) is missing!
