I think badges got major updates. Haven't really been paying attention this season but Luka Doncic started the year with 3 badges and now has 18.

If that's the case I wish this would be something 2K would take to advertise about their own damn game. If they're going to put in a substantial effort, why not take the same lengths to let people know about it?

There has to be something they can do, right? Maybe a YouTube segment they could clip and add to a future episode of 2KTV? If 2K is going to be doing roster updates on a limited basis (every 3 weeks) then just figure out what those dates are and you can work with the producers for when those blocks of time would be.

(We usually get a big badge update once a year, around this time - that's easy enough to plan a 3-minute segment that highlights the significant changes)

As far as the ratings:
Half of them are good/great. The other half are atrocious.

75 - Raymond Felton: 10.8 PER, 44 TS% on 22 USG%, 15 Games Played, 11 MPG
75 - D.J. Augustin: 15.2 PER, 63 TS% on 17 USG%, 51 Games Started
75 - Trey Burke: 15.9 PER, 50 TS% on 26 USG%, 35 Games, 20 MPG
70 - Jalen Brunson: 10.8 PER, 50 TS% on 18 USG%, 43 Games, 10 Starts, 17 MPG

Felton is within 3 OVR of Dennis Schroder who is miles better and the reason he has barely played.

The Magic have been starting a player all season (apparently) on-par with OKC's 3rd string.


As per usual, the guys at the top get a ton of attention, but the players ranked 100-300 have mainly depressed ratings when in most cases they aren't that far off from being starters themselves.

Nobody in their right mind is putting Raymond Felton on par with Andre Iguodala (literally identical OVRs, yet here we are in 2K19 at the All-Star break)

Really hoping that the legacy issue of strange historic badges has finally been resolved. I swear if we have one more iteration of this game wherein 90-91 Alton Lister has Silver Corner Specialist and Bronze Limitless, I'm going to scream. Lol

I don't know if it was done earlier, but they completely stripped badges for some players. Vince Carter, Noah, and Chandler for example.

He is my thing with this kind of about bench players. I'm not saying Felton rating shouldn't be lower. Do you drop a guy because he's not playing?

Sooooo Embiid is a legitimate elite player on both sides of the ball, just got selected as eastern conference player of the month and is posting career-highs in all major categories buuuuuut now he's the 2nd-highest rated Center in the NBA.
