Difficulty (You are using now) vs. CPU (Offline ONLY)

Just want to do a poll, and see up until now, after so many patches, what difficulty you are using now playing against CPU, this is only for offline play, and please explain why this is the difficulty you have chosen. Thanks.

***I am still struggling between choosing Allstar vs. Superstar...

All Star...anything more is just filled with CPU cheeze unless you're tweaking success sliders and what not. On the higher difficulties they literally just inflate the CPU's success sliders and deflate yours. They are always damn near perfect with everything, while you miss all the time cuz of deflated sliders.

All star, but I only start losing when I choose a crappy team. might need to bump it up to experience some of this CPU cheese

Superstar. Only because the CPU gets way too many green releases with 65 3pt shooters on HOF.

I also play on superstar and think it's a fair match for my skill level. Getting some good realistic stats in the games I play too. I always play 12 min quarters.

The cpu do love to attack the paint and it's difficult to defend at times, so I do play with a bit of defensive assistance in the controller settings because without it I think at times it's nigh on impossible.

Having a lot of fun with the game at the moment, I hope they don't change anything.

Superstar you really need to be on point with shot release, as opposed to All Star which I like more and is way more forgiving. For me, the biggest issue with Superstar is it is very difficult to get by a defender.

I have gone back to pro. Realistically a level between pro and all-star would be best for me. I basically almost always get beat on all-star and on pro I seem to do much better and almost never lose and most of the games just don't feel competitive.

I‘m playing on All-Star with shooting sliders tweaked for both User and CPU.

I play on HOF as well! Only way to get better and to fully utilize the plays. Running plays will make you better instead of the standard everybody does online with no half court offense.

All Star and Superstar. The game got better. At release shooting percentages were all over the place. Now you can get realistic numbers except for some games that go crazy. Days ago I played Bucks@Raptors (12 min - All Star): lost the first by 20, went for a rematch and won by 18. Loving the variety you can get against the CPU on All Star and Superstar. If you play good and avoid turnovers you can crash the AI, if you don't you can lose big. Good experience for me (default sliders), at release the game was more frustrating than ever, good to see such an improvement...

All Star the shooting percentages seem pretty solid for me but low for the CPU. Superstar for me is the reverse. What have you seen? Also seems hard to get around defenders with good ballhandlers on Superstar.

I use All Star because Da_Czar said that's the best middle ground of difficulty without having too much cpu cheese

I am an "old" nba2k player who had 1 year off from the game (nba2k18) due to the lack of on ball D.in 19 i started with AllStar in my franchise for 4-5 games. After watching a video regarding how to setup the defensive settings & fix the broken D for my team before every game, i started winning by 20+ points. So i end up playing on SS with sliders set to Default & i may raise the difficulty in the future if i can win easily but i know the "cheating" will be ridiculous some times
