Nice...but I can't decide which system to buy it on...does it look a lot better on the PS4 Pro vs the regular PS4? Thanks I advance if anyone has an opinion. I recently got hooked on The One mode...lol.

It looks like crap on normal PS4, but still miles ahead of 2K.

For the game AND All Star DLC...this is digital only... hopefully the B&M stores provide some kind of discount this week but I doubt it.

I was waiting for them to "give it away" and at $6 I can't wait to have it as an alternative to 2k.

At this price it's worth a shot regardless of how you feel about EA or the franchise, even something as simple as the ESPN presentation will be a nice change.

I'd really like to recommend all those new NB Live users to give Court Battles a try. This is not a MUT type of thing. There are no packs to buy or money to spend.

You use your created One player, along with four other pros to beat other teams, and control their court. to protect your court, you create a team of five pros for other teams to beat. This is a solo mode. You do not play the the teams attacking your court. also, despite your One player being one of the players, it is play out as a team game, with you controlling whoever had the ball.

If your team gets beat, you take back control by beating that team yourself.

Where it becomes fun and interesting is that you get advantages to help protect your court. first, you get to use a rule set. There are tons of them to use. I built a big team that finds the ball inside. The rule set is that dunks are worth 4, Layups 3, Jumpers 2, and threes are worth just one.

Then you get to hand the opponents a handicap. In mine, I require teams to use two SFs, as a way to give my team a size advantage. You also get to pick a gameplan for your team, so I use feed the bigs. Before each game you can look at the rules and adjust your lineup.

Some games are 3 minute halves, some playing to a set score, like 21. Most games seem to be full court, but there are half court rules, too. I played a game to 35 that had normal rules, except block were worth 7 points. Some games give you a shot % bonus baed on the time left on the shot clock. There is a rule set that is the opposite of mine, which you se a lot, where threes are worth 4, jumpers 3, layups 2, and dunks 1.

One of my favorites is a like playing skins. Every missed shot banks the points the shot would have been worth. so if you miss a three, get the rebound, and miss a jumper, that's five points. If the other team goes down and scores, that's a seven point basket.

Because of the rules and these of customizing your line-up, the mode never gets old. It's also kind of fun to customize your court. It's just a fantastic little part of The One, which includes the two career modes, The Street and The League, and the MP section, Live run and Live Events.

There is no doubt that the NBA side is not where it needs to be. But The One side is so much more fun than it has any right to be. I wish more folks were getting to check it out. Maybe this sale will help.

I got the email, unfortunately it's still a no for me. They knew of many of the gripes we many of us had with 18, mainly with it's severe lack of improvements to the franchise mode, and no franchise for the wnba. I'd rather see what they can deliver for live 20 instead of settling for a mediocre game.

Did you notice the email says get it for $4.99?   That must be the price of EA Access...that can't be by accident.  So people sign up for a month of Access and at the end of the day they still don't own the game...sounds kinda shady.

Just bought this game but the audio doesn't work. I uninstalled it three times and still no audio. All my other games work fine. Gee thanks EA

I think there's a 90% chance this is the last one so everyone better grab it for nostalgia's sake or to sell it on Ebay in 5 years for a profit if you can find a physical version.
