Re: Be Honest: Does Taunting Make You Salty?
Depends on the taunt.
There’s two types of taunting in MMA games:
1. The “tough guy” taunts. Basically a player who taunts indiscriminately, and constantly, in an attempt to imitate a Diaz brother type persona online. Often times these taunts have little correlation with the fight at all and are just cranked out at random.
2. The “I’m winning” taunts in otherwise competitive fights. These occur when a player is outplaying their opponent, and begins taunting relentlessly once they realize they’re very likely to win. The fight doesn’t even have to be a blowout - it can be an extremely competitive, close fight. In fact, the closer, the more infuriating. When done correctly, these taunts can be infuriating, way worse than post-game trash talk.Xbox GT: the relaxed guyComment

Re: Be Honest: Does Taunting Make You Salty?
I guess it can depend on a few different things.
But if you're using someone like Diaz bros, or Anderson Silva, then it definitely doesn't bother me. Because that's just what they do.
In fact, I love seeing people play in a way that emulates the actual fighter.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Taunting only sucked when someone was so much better than you, and you couldn't do anything back. Poor sportsmanship.@bikingforjesus on InstagramComment

Re: Be Honest: Does Taunting Make You Salty?
Tbf I played a badass Anderson Silva who constantly taunted back in the earlier days around season 4 I’d say. He was owning me every time we’d fight slipping me and working the body all while constantly taunting me. I wasn’t mad it just made me really want to beat him like he was the final boss or something. And one time I did, of a lucky fluke headkick but it counts. And when I got that instant KO it was so satisfying.Comment

Either that, or I don't like you.
Or that occasion when my friends and I happen to run into each on Ranked for the lolz.Last edited by RomeroXVII; 02-15-2019, 11:42 PM.EA Sports UFC GameChanger

Re: Be Honest: Does Taunting Make You Salty?
It only bothers me when I know the person doing it isn’t good. They get one lucky rock state and decided to bow. I’m like dude you throw the same flow chart predictable combo and you have less then 50% stamina in the middle of round 1. You know you are gonna lose right?Comment
