Ben Taylor posts some good stuff on twitter and occasionally links others, and videos, etc. Not sure what you mean by scouting players, but a good chunk of his stuff is older players rather than current. I think he actually is a contributor to Nylon Calculus, and the author of Thinking Basketball.
