I think we could all make an educated guess. DD brings in far more players and more revenue. It also resets itself every year so it generates more repeat purchases from these players every year

Because last year DDs content didnt inspire a fun experience as 17. It had to be re done and to me looks like they nailed it minus the bat skins but who cares. Lot of quality of life changes and mission trackers will gona long way.

I wish franchise would be updated as well but DD is king i didnt think id ever enjoy it a couple years ago but when done right its rewarding for sure and ive spent a lot of time with it now

Honestly, not sure how I feel about the ticket counter going away. For some reason I kind of liked that element. I enjoy seeing no more souvenirs for sure.

It's just funny to me how adding one thing can be a 'feature' one year and then removing that thing can be a 'feature' a couple years later. I think I remember the "immortals" as the planet legend cards (or whatever they were being called at first) and that was supposed to be this big deal that they could go up to 125. Now, removing the immortals is supposed to be the selling point.

I agree 100% and I am one of the "wah wah, franchise mode" people. It's almost like people can't actually read the thread titles and just post whatever, wherever. At least I try to connect my posts to the thread they're going into in some small, tangible way.

Now that Cy Young is in the game, I hope this means we can finally choose the first name "Cy" in RTTS. Even his real first name, Denton, would be fine. I love making legends as rookies to see how they'd turn out in the modern day.

Why do people have to keep making posts like this on almost every single DD related thread? You aren’t gonna change the direction SDS is taking the game, you are just hijacking the thread and ruining it for people who actually want to discuss DD. I’m pretty much a franchise only player as well but people complaining about franchise in every DD thread is ridiculous.

Playing players out of position will show there adjusted ratings for which position they're playing... etc.

Does this apply to all modes? Or just DD?
