If anyone is interested I'll take signups to be my defensive assistants.

If there's a bunch of interest I'll split up into more open positions.

I can only assume that's from the Thrones show but I have no idea who that is or what the joke might be?

UAB is the Dragons. When she says "Dracarys!" the dragon sets fire to entire armies.

Got the dragons reference. Wasn't sure if there was something more specific there. Hopefully we can avoid getting burnt literally or figuratively.

DOMINIQUE TOVELL ENDS THE GAME WITH A 4TH DOWN SACK IN OVERTIME

ULL survived a scare from UAB to come away with a 32-24 overtime win. The Blazers trailed for most of the game but scored on a 56 yard pass with 36 seconds left to tie the game and take it to overtime.

After each team scored in the first two overtimes the Cajuns went up 32-24 to start the third overtime on a Terrance Broadway to Scott Austin touchdown pass then added the two point conversion.

Facing a fourth down UAB's Austin Brown was sacked by Dominique Tovell to end the game and secure the win for ULL. The sack was Tovell's third of the day and the team's seventh.

                        Coach Davis' Take
With all the pressure in the world on us during that last possession we buckled down and Dominique (Tovell) made a hell of a play. Overall a good game defensively. That fourth quarter deep ball score was a tough one to give up but ultimately the defense was able to shake it off and go back out there and make the plays that ultimately won us the game. Very proud of everyone today.

Wow. What a nail biter there. I did not expect the Dragons to take you into overtime like they did. But hey, a win's a win no matter if it's by 1 or 100. Looking at your reception and passing numbers it looks like you had two or three consistent targets and weren't able to spread the ball around.

It also looks like your secondary had some trouble as well. Hopefully those two areas get shored up.

If I was playing both sides of the ball I would have expected a more lopsided win. The CPU offense will keep most games close I think. Our offense did not spread the ball around like you mentioned.

Aside from the one long touchdown pass we gave up the secondary wasn't terrible, we did give up a few deeper passes to the sideline so we'll need to use more cover 4 I think.

                              Thanks for checking in.
