Before i get into some details i want to thank MavsManiac4Life (edited a few teams), SonicMage (SportsCrunchRatings) and the OS-CAP Community for there contribution.
Without you guys this roster would be a lot worse. Thank you!!!


This roster brings you the full 00-01 (post deadline) experience.
But 2001 is long gone so you guys might not remember the season that well.
So here is a little video to help you out:

Everything is done so you can start a season.
Only problems with this roster: In simulation the pace is a little too high and players avarage too many rebounds.
I guess it has a little bit of a modern style to it.

If you want to start a season i recommend 30 team control and the following league adjustments:
use custom roster (pretty obvious)
set first round to best of 5
turn injuries off
turn team chemistry off
you also might want to set the cap higher if you play multiple seasons

These are the classic teams you have to use for this roster:

98-99 Knicks
99-00 Raptors
00-01 76ers
01-02 Nets

West:
95-96 Sonics
97-98 Jazz
97-98 Spurs
99-00 Blazers
00-01 Lakers
01-02 Kings
03-04 T-Wolves

You also might take a look at the current 76ers roster before you start a season. There are some players on the roster with a different look than the ones i used.
For example an AI CAP or Jason Williams with hair. If you switch out players make sure you set rotations afterwards (->https://www32.zippyshare.com/v/tbALvjG3/file.html).

Also remember to use the correct jerseys. Accessoire-colors are set up for those.

Houston is definetly a surprise here. In most of the sims they reach the playoffs, but i never saw them that high before.

What sliders are you using

I'm still figuring out a slider set. I changed attributes and tendencies so often that i stopped adjusting my sliders after a while. I always liked the standard sim set as a base. Depending on how good you are with getting open shots and defending adjust the shooting sliders a bit, raise dunk, attack rim, look for big, post shot and foul tendencies and you should have a solid base to work with.

Pretty quite in here. I hope that is because you all play the roster and like it...


Anyway, i have something more for you guys. Missing Arenas.
Under my PSN-ID you can find arenas for the following teams:
Bucks, Bulls, Cavs, Celtics, Clippers, Grizzlies, Hawks, Hornets, Magic, Mavs, Nuggets, Pacers, Pistons, Rockets, Suns, Warriors and Wizards.
Most of them were created by other people. I made a few tweaks here and there. But this way you can find all the needed arenas under one ID.


Please ignore the jerseys that come with those arenas. Some might look like the one the teams wore that year, but please use the jerseys 2k has for those years!!!!
Exceptions: 2k has no jerseys for the Grizzlies, Hawks, Hornets and Warrioirs for that year. They have some for the years before or after and they look close. For those teams you can use the created jerseys.













There were a couple updates in the last week. Most of them had improved faces, but there were some rating adjustments, too. So i recommedn to download the newest version. There is also a new rotation sheet up.

Just a few of the games I’ve played so far. I got the 3pt attempts right on par with the league average that year with some slider tweaks, it’s really playing perfectly to the era now, excellent job CD.

Hi so I downloaded it and put the historic teams in when doing the custom league and all the settings like 5 game series, injuries and chem off. I'm having an issue with current day stars on the roster and some players on the wrong team. Anyone have a fix because I really want to have this work.

At what point do you download the roster? In the main menu or during the process of starting your MyLeague? The later one may lead to some problems(?).


Maybe a simple re-download will do the trick.

Yeah, i did not create any FAs for this year. You can edit the FA pool like janmagn said if you want.

But you might wanna think about controlling all teams in season/myLeague mode. Not only are FAs no problen, you also keep the correct rotations and the cpu doesn't mess them up.


@vwb7: what do you mean with wrong players on a team? I thin like 6 or 7 teams have a filler player to prevent 2k from automatically adding a FA to team when you start a season.
