Signature series seems pretty much just Immortals, but slightly tuned down a notch. Still not representing a singles season and still the undoubted best cards on the game, but there are more of them and they are more representative of the players peak range rather than cherry picking each ratings best year. Bunch of different ways to get them, some sellable, some not

Team affinity has some cool rewards, but what you actually need to do is a bit disappointingly basic. It's just March to October on different difficulties, exchanges and grinding innings. No separate missions for the team or it's players

Yeah, I would have liked a little more variety. But still not awful. If i can win March to October on all star that gets me to 40 points. The remaining 60 will require 37 games worth of innings offline (less if you play online). Now, as an offline player, is that limiting me to Conquest and random games vs the CPU which serve no other purpose? Does MTO innings actually count? I doubt it. Is there something I can play in Moments with an All Cardinals team to accumulate innings?

The worrying thing for me from that stream, was the complete lack of any reason to actually play the game offline. I'm sure it's in there, but they just didn't mention it. Sure there is conquest with some conquest missions, but beyond that all the offline stuff mentioned has been Moments and March to October, neither of which use my DD team. So what is my DD team for offline, other than conquest?

Is there any reason to play a 9 inning game with my DD team, other than to mindlessly grind innings towards team affinity or hope to aimlessly level up? That was a serious issue last year, zero reason to play 9 inning games, but this year so far there seems to be even less reason.

It looks like it's all going to come down to those 1st/2nd Inning program things and the moments within them, but how many are there and do they involve using my team significantly? Last year my team was almost always full of guys who contributed towards a mission of some kind and it kept things interesting, I've not seen any real incentives of that type this year yet surprisingly.

Agreed, my biggest complaint is that there has been no real reason to ever field your BEST team in offline DD. You always are running some sub-obtimal team to facilitate a grind for the next reward.

Unless there are some things tucked away in Moments or those new maps in Conquest are worth running then my enthusiasm just wavered a little.
