    March to October

Personally I am very excited for this new mode, I loved franchise, but have become a nut for DD the last few years, this seems to simplify a year of Franchise but also give you rewards for DD... I plan on live streaming a lot of this mode when the game comes out on tuesday...

I received a request/suggestion for my upcoming March to October stream to use a team that has yet to win a World Series, please head over to my twitch page and vote...

Twitch is the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.

also follow and watch the opening week stream to be entered in the MLB the Show 19 game giveaway!!

    Thanks

I know it's going to be improved over the years but the main thing that irks me this year is no injuries, you are restricted to one roster set, no minors, etc.

Exactly what we needed! Another March to October thread. Because the other two we have with over 20 pages of post each just wasn't getting the job done lol

You can blame me. Any time I do play out a season, I turn off trades and injuries. I'm not trying to be accurate, I just want to play out a series of games with and against players I like. The reality of injuries and trades does not make it more fun. So it was probably my telemetry data that ruined everything.

And besides, it seems like they are trying to make the mode a bit like a score chasing thing. Everyone plays out the season for each team with the same rosters and sliders. You can adjust difficulty to increase or decrease your score/rewards.

Yeah its basically just a DD mode. The only way I can think to change it is to have the rewards be based off your teams OVR. So if you use a custom roster with a team OVR of say 95-99 you get fewer/worse rewards than someone that uses a 75-79 OVR team. But then they would have to factor in the other 29 teams OVR as well.

The only thing better is if they could somehow charge us to play this new mode.

There's a giant thread discussing MTO. Don't need another.
