Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
Needed something to do for the last few weeks of MLB 18 and have heard great things about your roster.
I did a fantasy draft, 23rd Overall and drafted this team:
1. Jorge Veras - SS
2. Like Jordan - 2B
3. Derrick Shaw - 1B
4. Clinton Lake - CF (my fav, such a stud)
5. Reid Fortenberry - C
6. Chuck Ross - LF
7. Earl Phelps - RF
8. Boomer Moore - DH
9. Quintin Chambers - 3B
Rotation:
Cam Brown
Woody Rockwell
Tanner Wood
Rodrigo Cortez
Zackary Myers
CP- Seth Clark.
Started off 8-0 and finished April 22-7.
Lot of fun playing with these guys! Nice refreshing breath of playing with all MLB players

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
I'm gonna list off my favorite teams in each division for this upcoming 2019 version of the league:
AL East - Blue Jays. I've added a very good (99 overall) ace to the Jays rotation, named Will Palmer. 90+ per 9s except BB/9.
AL Central - White Sox. New switch hitting second baseman named Bobby Lockett but they also gave good platoon mixes in multiple positions like designated hitter, third base and shortstop.
AL West - Mariners or A's. Both are much improved in terms of offense and bullpen. Seattle will have the best closer in the league, a lefty named Tyler Elliott while Oakland has a new DH named Michael Mayfield.
NL East - Nationals. One of the best offensive keystone combinations. Gordon Landry at second base and Howard Thompkins at shortstop should anchor the top of the lineup in D.C. in any franchise run.
NL Central - Pirates. The active home run leader resides at first base in Pittsburgh and his name is Caleb Pressley. The Pirates also have the top overall prospect (99 potential) in left fielder, Timmy Alexander.
NL West - Giants. Probably the best young 1-2 punch in the back end of their bullpen with Seth Clark and Peter Young. New power hitting veteran first baseman named D.J. Porter and free agent to be shortstop, Peter Wynn Jr.Comment

Anyone doing fantasy drafts with this roster is missing out. Join in the universe. The teams have identity.Comment

I think it still works either way. I'm just really glad to read about anyone playing with the roster no matter how they are doing it.Comment

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
As for custom draft classes, yes! I'd be all in on any new additions to franchise and ways to add more creativity options to any user's experience.

I'm no longer adding any more players to the roster so I have completed the companion spreadsheet as well.

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
Big News!
For anyone still playing MLB The Show 18,
I have uploaded my latest version of the roster. This is the exact base that I'll use to import my roster to the new MLB The Show. Go ahead, take a look and play some games. I've made major changes and they've mostly been explained in earlier posts on this thread but you are still welcome to ask any questions you may still have about it.
I used my PSN: cwebs96 to upload it and it is titled "Bacons Roster 2019 WIP"
You can find it by going to the roster vault and searching my name, searching the name of the roster or sorting by most recent.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this entire process before (and after) showing off any of my work on this project.
