Face updates

I am trying to gather a list of players that need a face upgrade.. for example:
Ozzie Albies. ATL.... his head is way to small for his body, it just looks off
Chris Shaw. SF.... his head is way too big lol

I wish that the SDS team wouldn't put random face scans on players, but just leave those players with the option to edit there faces and have there service time and stats attached

Hate that Acuna didn't get a face scan. He doesn't look as bad as when they put him in the game last year but it's still not him. Also, I wish you could throw a beard on AJ Minter.

Yea, Sony has done a horrible job on most of the players this season, they were better off on just leaving the players faces & bodytypes editable, and I don’t see why that they can’t just leave the actual portrait of the mlb player that’s editable in, example such as Acuna, and Dominic Smith.

Guys you have to remember that the face scans are a year behind. So these guys who came up last year will not have face scans into the game until next years cycle. It’s a weird way it works. But that’s what the developers say. So guys like Acuna,Albies etc will be a created face as close as possible a developer can make it until next year when the face scan gets put into next years game. I agree that they should leave it editable for us so we can make a better CAP.

Jose Abreu is about 7 years overdue for an update. Looks nothing like him and he isnt just a role player to overlook.

Jose Abreu not getting scanned is a bummer... what I wanna do is get some of these guys uploaded to that vault so some of the face guys can get at them
These players will have as close to as possible service time and stats. It won't be 100%accurate but close enough

the problem with updating a face guys is, they will turn into a rookie and go for rookie of the year and lose their audio, I advice you to just put up with the crappy faces. otherwise your gonna have everybody go for rookie of the year, and the commentary annoying the crap out of you talking about how that a 30 year old has just had his first ever strikeout

If you dont edit the audio I believe they keep there commentary... as for rookie of the year you just manually injure the player on last day of season and he won't win rookie of the year lol... I did this last year with Benintendi and once again Albies

WOW i had no idea you could do that.. are you kidding?? well that is good that you can do it...

but that is ridiculous if an injury actually did happen on the final week of the season.. thanks for that fix though that is a glaring issue that I didn't know you could fix. I will just pretend who is voted 2nd is the real rookie of the year lol.

as for audio that will only work if it is a SCEA CAP that has the same ID linked to the audio ID not a different CAP. that is the only issue. it will work for Acuna though

I am actually finishing up a Jose Abreu in MLB 18 (using I believe Motown’s CAP), I went through and simmed to get his service time accurate and also get his stats accurate (as close as possible on major stats).

I will try to finish him up by this weekend, I think I have 1 season left to sim. (He won’t have commentary bc he debuted pre The Show 14 and The Show 15 introducing year to year saves), but his name is in the audio list so you can have his name said in game by both commentary and PA announcer.

I am doing the same with Christian Vazquez’s (his CAP is tied to the The Show 16 cap, so if you leave his name blank it will have commentary/stories).

I will put these in the The Show 18 vault, and put them in the Show 19 vault once I pick up the game.

This couldnt be more false. Juan Soto has a face scan.
