All Star level a lot easier in 19?

Is it just me or did All Star level get a lot easier in 19?

I don't know if All Star is easier or maybe it's just that my Phillies have a much better team but in my first 3 games on All Star I have scored 10 runs in 2 games and 14 runs in the other game while only giving up 8 runs to the AI.

I feel the exact opposite. I’m playing March to October using the Jays on all star and am struggling big time. Thinking it might just be my timing a little off. Hoping more likely.

I don’t think they ever said anything about making All Star easier. If anything it should probably be temporarily harder until people adjust since I’m pretty sure they made pitch speeds faster on every difficulty except Rookie and Veteran. What teams did you play against? What starters did you face? You should probably play some more before judging it, 3 games is a small sample size.

I played 4 games last night on All Star difficulty with basically default sliders and the game feels on par with last years game.

I think one thing that seems easier to me this year is the hitting. It feels a little easier to make contact with the ball and get a hit. I could be wrong though and just swinging well.

I guess I should really play more then 3 games before I judge.

But I am starting to think the main reason is the Phillies do have a much better team now

Legend hitting with pitch speeds at 10 seems harder than last year...prolly need to get the rust off a bit.

I scored 9 runs in my 1st game, mainly from 3 home runs and two extra base hits, and didn’t find the game to be any easier this year by default.

I think you just aren’t used to the Phillies having a filthy lineup.

I always set everything to All-Star when I launch the latest version. Second game I played, I struck out 15 times. Then again, after getting swept out of the NLCS in The Show 18, I started playing Everybody's Golf for months and I probably just need to shake off my rust. That or hire Suzuki as my hitting coach.

one thing I noticed from going from HOF to all star was the CPU throws a hell of a lot more wild pitches.. gonna take some playing around with sliders a lot this year to get it right.

I really struggled on HOF next I went to all star my hitting was slightly improved but I only scored more runs because the CPU kept throwing wild pitches which helped sac fly a couple of runs and scored a run off a wild pitch

During the live stream they said the only pitch speed changes were slower for rookie and faster for legend. Veteran and All-star wasn't touched.

I'm finding the difficulty about the same, I think pitching is slightly harder, it seems like the computer fouls off way more pitches. I still only allowed 4 runs in the opening series against the Braves. One thing I'll add though, hitting with this Phillies lineup is awesome, it's gonna be a fun year.

Ramone was on Effectively Wild (ep. 1353) podcast Tuesday and mentioned they made Rookie, Veteran, and All-Star "easier" this year, and upped the difficulty of HoF and Legend.

He said the majority of the fanbase struggled with the game - hitting, especially - but that the top 2% of player needed the game to be harder.

So you're saying that according to their data only 2% of the players use HOF or Legend? That can't be right.

He mentioned that most users struggle with the game, even those on HoF/Legend, but that the best players - 2% - want the game harder. He didn't specify the criteria for determining the "best players."

The material information is that SDS did adjust difficulty levels this year.

Out of a million users, that's 20,000 people. So it could be accurate.
