MLB 19 New York Yankees Equipment Edits

Might as well start the thread up again since it's Opening Day. As usual, I will be adding more stuff over the new few weeks once we see what guys are wearing. Very quickly, I've noticed a few huge problems with the color coding options that SCEA gave us in this year's game, so most Nike and Adidas cleats are going to be somewhat inaccurate. But I'll do the best with what they give me.

As usual, if you spot anything wrong or that I missed, feel free to drop a reply and let me know throughout the season.

*As a reminder, "TC" = Team Color. Also, if you don't see a piece of equipment listed or edited, that means leave it the way it is by default.

    Starting Pitchers:
    Domingo German
    Preferred Number: 55
    Nike Pro Combat: Yes
Glove: *Style 1 (Golden Brown, Golden Brown, Red Brown, Golden Brown Golden Brown, Golden Brown, Golden Brown)
    Web Style: Modified Trapeze
    Sleees: Both (3/4)
    Cleats: Adidas Icon Bounce (White, TC1, White, TC1, TC1, TC1, TC1)
*Glove is inaccurate. He really wears a glove from the 44 brand, which isn't in the game. I personally hate generic equipment, so I just gave him an Adidas glove to match the brand of his cleats.

Added a bunch of edits today after the first few games of the season. Will probably have more over the next few days, as well. Really hate the way they did the color coding for the Huarache cleats this year.

So do I. You can’t make the cleats all TC1 n a white bottom part to the Huarache. It bothers me.

Yeah, agreed. It's basically going to be close to impossible to get any of the Nike cleats 100% accurate this year. I wish they would release a patch to fix it but I'm not holding my breath.

That won’t happen. They won’t change it. They should do it like 2k does. Can’t edit almost every single part of the shoe. So only thing we can do is use the Trout cleat for guys who use the Huarache with white bottom. Cuz the Trout let’s you do that.

Yeah, I noticed the Trouts you can edit the bottom. Basically the only choices are to use those in place of the Huaraches or keep the Huaraches and not have the white trim on the bottoms. I'm still 50/50 on what is the better option.

Re: MLB 19 New York Yankees Equipment Edits

Added a ton of edits in the first post. I believe I've now added everybody who has gotten into a game so far this season.

Clint Frazier switched to Air Jordan cleats this year, which sucks for gaming purposes. Really don't understand how they couldn't add the Jordan Brand to the game this year considering how many guys wear them now and they basically go hand-in-hand with Nike.

Clint Frazier switched to Air Jordan cleats this year, which sucks for gaming purposes. Really don't understand how they couldn't add the Jordan Brand to the game this year considering how many guys wear them now and they basically go hand-in-hand with Nike.

Are you still doing these or are you done for the season?

Still doing them. I will post some more. I got sidetracked because once Full Minors were released I had to go back and redo all of these edits for the roster. I do have more, though, I'll try and post tonight after work.

Great.. I like your edits. I'm curious if you plan to do road equipment like Phillies fan does? His spreadsheet is excellent.

Thank you! I might eventually, but to be honest, most of the stuff guys wear on the road are so similar that you can just swap out the white in their gear for grey. Maybe I will get to it eventually, though. I've been busy fine-tuning the roster to start my franchise soon, too, which has taken up a great deal of time.

True. Except for a couple of tweaks, I do use team color 3 a lot.
