Re: This game is so unbalanced and the head movement mechanics are the worst
Offline play head movement is just about doable but you can't react as you see the strike unless you're already spinning the stick. It just requires too much reflex.
Online it's much more difficult. Unless you make reads on your opponent, you ain't reacting to **** unfortunately. From what I've seen anyway.
Some tips for offline:
- If the AI hasn't thrown an uppercut in a while, it will soon so don't duck.
- Move the stick ahead of time. Don't wait for them to throw. Then whilst moving the stick, change direction depending on what they throw. You gotta be quick.
- Block your head if they throw a body or leg kick, as it locks you out of head movement.
- Use the major backsway to get out of trouble. Especially if a combo is coming.
- Counter off head movement. You can't play defensive for too long before getting caught and when you do the damage will be multiplied due to vulnerability and head movement.
You can't do head movement like FNC. Here you have to mix in the other stuff almost always or it's goodnight.
Same with footwork. You almost always should major back lunge. The minor ones are too delayed and unreliable vs. combos.
Combos lock on like magnets and feints speed up the followup strikes and also have magnetic powers, so yeah, head movement is risky as heck.
