As per the NFL Twitter, It looks like Madden will reveal the cover before the draft. It makes sense that they would at least start the Madden 20 news cycle at the draft

My guess is that with this being the NFL'S 100th season, Madden puts a collection of young guns and stars on the cover:

Kamara, Juju, Donald, Mahomes, Gurley, Saquon, etc.

I remember last year, grown men we're all up in arms & pounding their fists because the cover athlete wasn't revealed to them when they wanted EA to lol. Glad this won't be the case this yr.

I'm going with Gronk, Watt, Kuechly, Julio Jones, Khalil Mack, Aaron Rodgers, Matty Ice, Kam Chancellor, Aaron Donald, or Mahomes as my choices.

They had Donald, Kamara, and JuJu promoting it so I doubt it is them. Mahomes seems like a obvious choice. Madden usually goes with someone who is very marketable/well-known or to show off a new feature. If they go Defensive I can see Mack.

I agree with the Mack thought. No way it's going to be Gurley after he got hurt and wasn't their main back during the SB run. The way those guys all reacted made it sound like they were surprised that this dude made it so maybe a wild card that's a bit older like Phillip Rivers or Julio?

I will say this is earlier than the past couple years. Madden 19 cover was announced on July 18(I don't know why they waited a month before to release cover)and Madden 18 cover got announced May 12. It looks like they want to start the hype train early. So they need to choose someone who is very marketable

Yeah Mahomes would make a ton of sense for the marketability.
