    Hiding True Overall For Recruits

So when you go into the editor and look at recruits, there are 3 overall ratings.: Pre-Scout Overall, Ovr*, and Overall. The Pre-Scout Overall is obviously the overall rating you see before you scout. The Ovr* is all the edited ratings calculated and Overall is the True Overall for the player. So I exported the recruits to a cvs file...then i went in and set all 3 overalls to 40. I wanted to zero all 3 out but i believe it locks the game up. I loaded the file up in the game and every recruits overall shows 40. The good part is it did nothing to change star rating or ranking. Once recruiting is over at the end of the season ill import the true overall back to the recruits. I think itll provide an added element to recruiting.

That sounds like it could really spice up a dynasty. So are the best players still 5 stars after you make everyone 40 ovr? Or is it possible to have an 80 ovr 1 star recruit and a 50 overall 5 star recruit?

Yep, all of the recruits maintain their star rating whatever it is. Nothing changes.

As you can see in this pic...the Pre-Scout Overall is at 40 and the Overall is at 40 but the Calculated OVR*(the real Overall that a player will have at the end of recruiting is untouched). Making the Pre-Scout Overall and Overall 40 doesn't mess with the Calculated OVR* because none of the ratings have been touched. Therefore, you're able, if you want to, to recruit guys without getting their true overall's until the end of recruiting. The key would be not looking at the OVR* obviously, and also making a csv file before making the changes to 40 just in case. But I think it would be just another added wrinkle.

This is a great idea, but it would take a dedicated commish to pull it off.
