This whole system of numbers could be replaced. Fans of MMA know how their fighter fights. New people can read about them and make an educated decision on whether to use that type of fighter. No more numbers. All that does is force the devs to make things a certain value because it will always be compared to something else. Guys not in the top 10 can't have striking above 87. Why? Because the top 5 guys all have atleast 90? It's artificially making fighters worse because their number has to be "balanced" with the other numbers. Just get rid of them and use the fighter's real life stats to determine their in game stamina and output cost. They gas in a 3 round fight but still win? Make them gas like that in the game. The game now, the only difference between 3 round fights and 4 round fights, is how much more often people throw a crazy amount of strikes.
Yeah it absolutely drives me nuts - especially since the only way to push these people for throwing relentlessly is to make them miss. That's not how real life works.

If you're gonna throw relentlessly at the air because I'm able to time your movement in and out then you should be heavily punished stamina wise for that. These guys are throwing endless combos at the air and hitting block wrecklessly. They throw until they land on something and rarely is it calculated.

Just a horrendous representation of the sport the way it's currently oriented.
