Can Anyone Else Not Stop the Run?

On offense, I am LOVING the run game. Reminds me of NCAA 14 with the swift player movement.

On defense however, I can't stop the run to save my life. Anyone have any tips?

Try sliding your dline or linebackers. Also try run commit and see if that helps

If I ignore the run when selecting my front and play, then yeah. But once I start paying attention to it, and usering the safety in the box, I have a lot less trouble.

          What mode are you playing?
What difficulty and style are you using?
Are you playing against a human opponent or CPU?

The answers to the questions above will help other give you good advice
Just stop saying that Madden is garbage and you aren't going to buy it. We all know that you are telling a lie so you can feel better about yourself.

I can stop the run, but can't run myself. Also can't stop the pass but can pass all day.

Can I have your copy? The CPU doesn't know how to gain yards on the ground at all when I play and they can't stop it too effectively either. Default All-Pro.

I play All Madden and it seems fairly realistic to me. I can run if I stick with it, usually getting about 3-5 yards per carry on average, and every 6 or 7 runs getting stopped for a loss or breaking one for 10-20. As for run defense, I contain it pretty well considering my defensive line, but they still break one every now and then. I've only allowed one long rushing touchdown so far.

                All Madden
Human Reaction Speed up to 70
                Human Coverage up to 80
CPU Pass Accuracy down to 30
CPU Pass Protection down to 1

                Everything else default.

I started messing with sliders to boost the CPU run game but the following doesn't seem to be enough.

                  CPU Run Block +20
                  Human Tackle -5

I felt like 20 was a big jump but I might try doubling both setting since I was still able to tackle effectively. Human running game is too easy as well so I might try the opposite for human.

                  Human
                  Run Block -20
                  Tackle -10

                  CPU
                  Run Block +40
                  CPU Tackle +5

Maybe I should start a thread in sliders so I don't hijack this thread.

I just gave up 175 yards on 6 carries to the Texans... that’s been by far the worst yet. I gave up 110 the Vikings in a 6 min quarter game on 15 carries. The other games the computer couldn’t run for nothing. It’s boom or bust for me on all pro
