I'd guess QB1 pulled a ton of art resources (notably for the face editor options and cinematic elements).

Definitely the case. They talked about this when they brought over the LA Galaxy stadium to Madden for the Chargers and when they brought over the Seahawks stadium to Fifa for the Sounders.
