The true test of the changes will be when it's released to the public. There are some general gameplay exploits/glitches that anyone can find. Then there are the gameplay exploits/glitches that only the diehard cheesers find. It's the exploits/glitches found by cheesers that I'm worried about, because cheesers will be cheesers.
Very true. 2k is the X factor when it really comes down to it. If they allow certain glitches and exploits to stay in the game we're gonna be in for a long year of trash basketball again. They need to work with a sense of urgency to fix the problems discovered by the community.
No way pushing should've been in the game for 6+ months. If they're gonna do that again we're in for a long year.
I'm guessing a lot of these badges will be for certain moves ex. a behind the back badge, a euro-step badge. He also mentioned there's a badge that allowed small players to finish over big men.
I'm hoping with him saying that badges have been nerfed that the Hall of Fame badge tier is scrapped as well. Bronze, silver and gold is more than enough tiers and anything more is overkill.
Mike replied to a few tweets talking about badges. A few returning like Post Move Stopper. I'm guessing they're splitting up Defensive Stopper to 'Clamps' and Post Move Stopper. Changing Limitless Range to Range Extender, Slippery OffBall, Deep Fades, Interceptor being back, and Quick First Step.
Quick First Step is something I hope is balanced. In one hand, I hope it seperates the explosive players and actually makes it feel like a quick first step. But Other hand, I don't want it to just feel like a speed boost or have defenders delayed to make it feel like the ball handler is faster.

The "Giant Slayer" sounds like an interesting badge. Hmmmmm....that would imply that the NBA roster has been retweaked as well. Good year to reevaluate the badges given the number of offseason moves that happened this year.

That seems like an interesting badge. That'll make it more worthwhile to play as a smaller PG. But hopefully it isn't just a PG vs PF/Center. Hopefully it takes height into consideration

Yh I like the sound of that one too. I hated in past games how a big with rim protector could stand near me and make me blow a layup without doing anything. Maybe this will change that kind of thing for players that have this badge.

Well it's made to replicate the quick players exploding off the dribble or out of the triple threat, so it might be a speed boost kinda thing i'm guessing. I don't mind though, as long as it doesn't make the defender slower or anything. But I like the sound of it...should seperate the basic from the elite explosive guys. Players with this badge should be able to burn much slower players and bigs off the dribble fairly easy once they choose the correct movements. I can't wait to see what its like in game though.
