    NBA 2K19 vs. 2K20 Expectations

    Hello everyone,
I've been playing on PS4 for the last several years, but I fiddled with the idea of getting the game on PC for years. I never got it on PC though because most people were saying that the online experience on PC was terrible. With that being said, does anyone expect the online issues to improve in 2K20 or has it been just as bad every year?
I bought 2K19 from steam for $10 just to get a feel for everything, and it's not too bad offline. With that being said, if the online isn't better on 2K20 than I think I will just keep playing offline in MyGM or something. Any feedback would be great, thanks everyone.

Eh PC online is pretty bad. You got a bunch of hackers just juicing up a 7'3 point guard center freaks lol I tried 2k19 online when it first came out. I only saw the same people over and over. Not many to play against. I would stick online for consoles and PC for mods.

I can finally have a proper MSG

Yep, PC is really only beneficial for offliners who love mods. At least thats why i buy it.

Honestly, I appreciate having the extra FPS. 144 is really nice. I don't play MyPlayer online, or really even MyTeam, so not having a robust pool of other online players doesn't bother me. I stick to MyLeague and like to just play games in my spare time. For that, it's better on PC imo.

Online is full of cheaters, 2K only fix VC cheeses....

But if you play offline, PC is the right choice.
Better graphics, mods and IMO, playing with no vsync (with a GSync monitor) is definitly a big gap.

Yeah with no vsync its great.

            I'm playing in 1440p on a 165hz g sync monitor
Getting 120 fps during gameplay and 160 fps on cutscenes

Also great with steam sync if you travel for work or whatever. Bring your MyLeague anywhere on the laptop.

Played way more this year because of that.

Bought all previous nba2k's on pc except 2k17 which I bought on ps4 and now I just cant decide which version to buy. I dont play park games but I do play myteam sometime and on pc lag is horrible, especialy when taking a shoot. Also lots of cheaters. I also like to play mycareer mode.

What do you guys think? Which version would you recommend?

If you're going to play MyTeam online get a console version.

The cheating is still there people can still use the cheat engine from all the previous years it still works I cannot believe that!

If you're going to play only offline the PC version is beautiful.

Just be ready to play a completely new momentum dribbling system it's really really good once you get used to it the momentum is crazy.

Check out the WNBA it is actually beautiful it could be its own game if they wanted.

It’s pretty toxic. Check out the steam reviews. I would recommend for offline only.

During halftime highlights my fps drops down to 30, anyone else experiencing this? In play now vs the CPU.
