Czar 2K20 videos

For those who don't watch these, you should.

He goes into lots of depth and you will get a gameplay nugget. Ive played 2K since 2004, pour over over every help screen menu, 2KU, and czar's video series give me heaps to work with.

Here's one.

1. 3 out 2 in and 4 out 1 in freelances have been beefed up (must be labelled 'active'). Actions are quicker and designed to bring the stars to the ball. These should be the team's base freelance. These are smooooth, especially 3 out 2 in active.

2. ACE will look to highlight the stars in freelance if you choose playthrough star/star's name in OTFC. ISolation and mismatch logic is integrated within this.

3. Freelances have been reduced. Bucks have their own freelance (5 out base, and fast DHOs and PNRs), CLippers 2018 offense (5 out base), Hawks 2018 (5 out set with actions they used last year), Denver 2018 (5 out), MAVERICKS 2018 (1111111111111!!!!!!!! boutdamntime), Piston snap is back , FLOW IS BACK, Boston otions back, Princeton is in, SSOL, swing, tringle is still in.

4. We can't change other team's freelances yet. Czar working on this in the future.

5. This version has the best defensive movement in the series' history.

6. Probably no new defensive settings.

You can use one of these buttons to call for early offense.

You can use one for 'break double team'.

We set these buttons up however we want.

The offensive settings menu will only let you take 4 freelances into a game (not pages of them like previous). Although you can still access all the series' in game.

Thanks for posting this.
A bit sad for not being able to assign the freelance to the cpu teams though. I hope Czar could incorporate all the plays from the series into the playbook. In 19, some of those plays can only be run when calling the series in-game. I want to be able to assign to the CPU teams.

Maybe its me. I find it hard to remember the plays with running numbers eg FIST 5OUT 2, 3 all the way to 13. I mean, they have a mix of PNR Point & Wing. So calling it through the bigs for these plays can sometimes be confusing. I still prefer the traditional way where 1 refers to PG, 4 being PF. So calling FIST SPREAD 4 I can straightaway tell the PF is involved in a PNR play.

I would totally use FULL playart if they had an opacity option slider where I can use the slider to make it just visible for me.

EDIT: Awesome LB is back...LB back then was just smart play. Press it once and the cpu picks the plays for you without going through menus. So LB in essence is the same but with more layers? Nice I look forward to trying it.

Jimmy butler is not in Miami heats in this video. Josh Richardson still in Miami heats. Why you said this is 2k20 video ??

If you listen to the Czar in the videos, he says about 23 times that this is not 2k20 footage. In fact, the 2nd video is 2k16 lol.

Still not sure I'd use it, but yeah, they need a BARELY intrusive option. Opacity & duration settings would be nice.

Unfortunately if you didnt catch them live, he deleted the other videos. Went into more depth on things covered and not covered in that blog.

Jofri it took 2 years to be able to get you the option to choose in the menu as explained in this thread. You gotta give it some time. He does know we want it and I've mentioned it to him enough on top of that, so he understands.

Also that traditional offense is going by the wayside man. The NBA now is just full of actions and not that old 90s/early 00s style ball.

IMO the series stuff and what he's doing now, he was already thinking forward, because the way the league is now man, the game gives you more options than what you see on tv.
