Just a heads up the new frosty for Madden 20 is out. Make sure to follow the instructions, it’s different than Madden 19.

**v1.0.5.4 - Madden 20**

This version brings along with it a Madden 20 profile, however there are some things you have to be aware of. For modding to work correctly (and at all). You need to ensure that you remove any Live Content Updates that have been installed from taking the game online, and you will have to run the game in offline mode to avoid the game redownloading these updates. Because unfortunately altho these updates contain nothing of worth (at this time) they override any patches installed thru Origin and in turn override ModData.

The standard directory for these updates is: %ProgramData%\Frostbite\Madden NFL 20

Failing to do this will result in the following prompt appearing when you attempt to launch:

Getting ahold of the launch roster will at least give me a start on adding my physical ratings system to the rookies and other young free agents not already on the end of season one I did for M19. Targeting a Week 1 roster for release since I, personally, wouldn't start a franchise from a pre-season roster. Glad to hear that not much with uniforms has changed as well. I can just get the ones I've made swapped over.

Im not able to find the folder C:ProgramData\Frostbite\Madden NFL 20. I look in my C drive and cant find a program data folder. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

This was released a lot earlier than I anticipated. I am not ready to get back to work yet.

its in c/programfilesx86/origingames/maddennfl20/data/win32

then delete the live content update folder

there appears to be a live content folder in both the patch and data folders inside the madden nfl 20 folder. I deleted both the live content folders, went offline in origin and tried to launch through frosty and still got the same message that frosty has detected a live content update.

So that is annoying, basically if you want to play with mods you will have to play in offline mode all the time. Not a game stopper I guess just annoying. At least the Premier version lets you still play it in offline mode.

God bless you. You have solved a CTD error that I've been chasing for almost a day -- there was a patch or some sort of live content inside LUC folder within that file path that was crashing out the game immediately.



I just deleted it and the game launched for the first time in 24 hours. Thanks you, good sir.
