I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition and plan on doing a RTG UT in addition to the XFA.

Probably gonna wait for a price job or do a trade in, as I really don't want to support EA. I don't think they truly love the sport and it's just a money making exercise, all the wonderful things they could add to the game and they just do the bare minimum each time.

I’ve preordered both FIFA and PES this year. I switched to FIFA in 2014 but PES does look good this year, demo plays really well. Looking forward to playing both side by side. Fully intend to upload both Career Mode and Master League to YouTube this year, although the latter may need some reacquainting with initially as I haven’t played it for quite some time. My personal main hope for FIFA this year is the dynamic potential aspect works properly alongside the morale engine. I think if it does then Career Mode should be more interesting.

Waiting until Black Friday, this year. I like the additions to Career Mode, but it's still not good enough to justify giving them a full $60, again. Cheaper and we will have the November face scan updates by then.

Probably a month or two after release, depends on what you fine gentlemen find out when purchasing earlier. The downside is having a good game on patch 3 but not getting the game until patch 5 comes out that screws it all up.

I'll wait for Day 1. I preordered last year for early access in order to set some things up for TSL but it wasn't worth the 3 extra days...I don't mess with FUT

I don't play FUT so ill just buy Fifa when it comes out. I'm really excited for Volta.

i stand above all this (u know, Godlike ), the time for excuses (or playing God theirselves), is over for years now. Koanmi's PES 2019 got 8€ for me bc that was a reasonable price for what they offered.
It all depends on the modders, what they are capable of fixing the mess they release, i guess...if fifa or pes or any new soccer game at all.

It's a pre-order for me. I'm a casual soccer fan, but I really enjoyed playing FIFA 19. My lack of knowledge about soccer helps me stay oblivious to issues with the gameplay so I can enjoy the gameplay. The additions to career mode were enough to sway me towards buying. Not having Juventus in the game is annoying but it's something I'll get over.

I probably would have waited for the price drop if I hadn't given up on chasing the ghost of consistent gameplay after 8 months. I played '19 a ton because when the gameplay was good I generally had good time. Volta should be a nice diversion from my main focus of Career Mode. So hopefully '20 turns out to be a solid experience that can last me until the price drop of '21 if necessary. I'm ready to get back to playing some football.

On the contrary, due to the Switch version just being a legacy edition and portable gaming being a bit of a must for me these days (especially something as time consuming as FIFA), I've decided to finally get round to buying FIFA 19 for under £15.

I can just switch the biggest transfers around myself and have the same game for a fraction of the price.
