early 2k20er here, played a full WNBA game and snooped around the available menus. It's pretty much completely separate from the NBA side-- when you go to the Play Now menu there are separate options for NBA quick games and WNBA play now. No sign of anything WNBA in roster editing menus, though.

Dang I hate to hear that. Had some plans to bring back a few WNBA Legends... Lobo, Staley, etc.

I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to allow roster editing? Live did the same thing. Play Now only. No editing.

Don't have the game, but some things in the demo/I have seen on streams suggested that it would be available.

I.e. there was a bunch of clearly female names available in the character creator.

If I had to guess, they probably didn't have enough development time this year to create an engine that can generate women faces yet. Were they able to get that setup, we'd probably have a full-fledged WNBA franchise mode with generated draft classes available.

Here's hoping they keep building on it next year.

I think they are going to wait until they get some type of feedback from the general public on just the whole WNBA aspect... remember once they announced it you had a bunch of clowns saying all types of negative stuff about it. They probably dont won't these same dudes putting all WNBA players at 50 and doing a bunch of non-sense YouTube clips of it.

The WNBA mode is more fun than I expected. I am now doing a season in it and really even enjoy watching the YouTube games in it.

Playing with the WNBA teams, is fun. Ive played more with them, so far, because I wont start a MyLeague till after Opening Night, once rosters are set, so for now, Im working on sliders, making fictional draft classes, and playing with the WNBA teams.

Its sucks they didnt allow for us to edit the WNBA, and have the ability to create female players. I dont know why they didnt make it so you could, because in the list of names, they have several ****** names when you got to create a player, or edit draft classes.



I have a hard time believing, it would have been too hard, to atleast let us edit the WNBA teams. I could understand, this yr, not having any more than just Season mode with the WNBA teams, as Im sure that probably would have taken time to do, and make it so you create female caps, and be able to have a MYLeague, WNBA, but not allowing us to edit the girls, ratings and tendencies, and coaches along with their profiles, was ridiculous as far as Im concerned.



Im sure to some degree, they just wanted to see how well the WNBA would be received by people, before doing too much with them. I look for them to build on the WNBA, next yr, with hopefully a ML with being able to make woman draft classes. There is more and more girls it seems, who are playing video games these days, so I think this could make 2k alot more money, with now having the WNBA in the game.

Understatement... I really enjoy playing it. Especially from a sim point of view. I really wish I could take it online.
