    Archetypes was better

Like in 2k19 you could at least have a 65 rating in all your worst stats.

This game fams gotta go 34 Steal, 40 Shot Close, 36 Defensive Rebound just to be good at something else.

Archetypes was better just needed to let us upgrade what we wanted. Or bring back Inside Outside and Balanced and build from there. 2k really need some competition

I like the new system better.

This system is still the archetype... Just with pie charts and shiny new badges 🤣🤣🤣🤣

this is why 2k doesn’t give us what we want lmao! even tho they didn’t give exactly what we wanted, they gave us “somewhat” of freedom lmao, and we don’t even like it. the way they hyped this game up i was under the impression that we can do whatever we wanted to our players but nope only thing we have complete control over is our badges and we have to grind crazy to get ONE upgrade! this new system we are way more limited that when we had archetypes 🤦🏻*♂️

And why would the do something like that, the 2K community has already proven that if they had that freedom they would created the cheesiest of players, then complain about it.

The issue isn't that we don't like the freedom... The issue is that it's poorly implemented and frankly is a poorly disguised version of the archetype system... The issue is that they give us more freedom but with a significantly lower floor... The worst your attributes could be was 65... Now it's lower to compensate for the higher ceiling so it kinda evens out in the end... This is the archetype system with a new name 🤷🏿*♂️... And the reason why 2k doesn't give us what we want is because people will complain and moan while still shelling out thousands of dollars each cycle anyway... Why bother listening when you know people are STILL gonna throw money at you... Even guys like Jacked Bill, 2k's biggest critic, is a hypocrite because 2 months ago he was calling for people to boycott the game and then when he saw a few new shiny toys that 2k dangled in our faces he wound up beinh swayed into buying the game anyway... And now he's complaining again 🤣

They would've been better off giving us the 2k18 and 2k19 System, just with the freedom of choosing Cap breakers and Badges.

As I said before, you have keep some stats severely low just to be good at something else. Whereas in 2k19 your worse stats were 65. Now with 2k20 your worse stats are in the 40s

It's just a worse version of the archetype system. All they needed to do was combine 2k16 style of letting us upgrade whatever with 2k19 arche system and we'd be good. All this does is make your character vastly more limited than before. Like 34 steals and 40 shot close? the hell are they thinking. You need at least 65-70 shot close to be good and some need over 82 to be effective.
