Ultimately I'll end up turning the music off like most soundtracks and listen to my own stuff. Even if the soundtrack is great, a year of listening to the same songs gets annoying no matter the quality. Hopefully it's better than '19 though. Only liked a few songs but even those got old quickly. As long as I never have to hear "She hit me with that Jackie Chan, swish, swish, swash, swash. I hit her with that, "Yes, I can" again, then I'll be fine lol

LOL, that song was hilarious though but for me I usually like Fifa's soundtrack which is odd for me because I cut off all soundtracks in any other sports game. Still nothing will top Fifa 06's soundtrack for me they had Damian Marley, Doves, Bloc Party and Oasis on there.

Are they saying there are 2 different soundtracks, one for FIFA and one for VOLTA? How would that work? I mean, are they not going to use every song in the game as background music for the menu?

Man, I miss the days when FIFA offered a real scrimmage mode, rather than just this godawful practice arena nonsense.  I used to love messing around, listening to the soundtrack, and learning the game without all the delays of an actual game.

Why would they get rid of that?

Who knows. It was an offline feature, so they said screw it.

Playing the practice arena while listening to the soundtracks on FIFA 11-12 literally turned me into a huge soccer fan.

From what I read on a EA help account on Twitter it sounds like the soundtracks really are going to be exclusive to their respective modes. Boo!

I miss those days as well. Listening to the awesome soundtrack while playing the practice match.

The "11 v 11" practice mode was where I learned how to play FIFA. Learning all the types of passes, recognizing player movement, and learning all the skill moves. And what was great about the mode was that you always got the ball back/got a corner every time the ball went out of bounds which allowed you more time on the ball. Don't know why they removed this mode because IMO, that mode would have been a better way for noobs to learn to play to instead of the skills games they have now, the inclusion of MORE assisted settings, and the "1 v 1" practice mode they have now.

I still have my copy of FIFA 14; the last copy with the "11 v 11" practice mode!

Just listened to the main soundtrack on Spotify and while most of it I wouldn't listen to on my own I think it's decent enough. I think it's a lot better than '19. It might change after repeated listens but the the only song I know will never get played again is "Unemployed" by Tierra Whack.

Worst FIFA soundtrack I've heard in a while. All the goods songs are allocated to Volta.

So a month in and I haven't completely muted the music yet. Two or three songs have been banned from being played though. For a sport/game that's loved around the world the soundtrack doesn't seem very worldly.
