How do you manage the lack of EA roster updates?

Meaning, my 'updated' roster download from EA still shows Antonio Brown on the Raiders, etc. Is there a normal schedule EA has for updates?

I am sorry or my ignorance here. I abandoned video game football after the NCAA franchise disappeared, so I'm not used to how Madden performs such details.

    Much appreciated and best wishes.

Usually on Thursdays. They try to get it out before TNF.

Even when they do update the teams they dont really update the teams. The Titans were never fully updated in 19.

I would recommend just utilizing a roster made by the community, chances are it'll be more accurate than EA's.

Only thing EA's rosters have on the community's is their ability to make injuries when they happen.

The EA roster guy is also a member here. He will chime in on here time to time.

This isn’t really an update question but I guess it is kind of. Do they update cadences? Some guys like Jimmy G have a pretty limited cadence right now.

Personally, it doesn't matter. I play franchise so as soon as I start my franchise, the 'real world' rosters are not relevant

Community rosters. This issue is a problem on most sports games. Nba 2K suffers too

What does this even mean, we update everything every week.

This is the first I am hearing that once a week isn't often enough? That's really strange? I understand wanting a big player who changes teams on a Friday to be updated instantly but it's really not very common.

Ignore that mess. Once a week is more than enough man. People are just always going to complain about something and there's a reason this thread has only like 12 posts. Nobody shares OP's concern.

Once a week is fine. Once you start a franchise unless you do 32-team control there is no way to keep it 100% accurate with the NFL. THe computer is gonna do whatever it wants with the teams it controls. What we do in my league is if certain rookies for example players drafted rounds 3-7 come out of nowhere and become stars we will edit their ratings to match the official EA ratings update every week.

One use the provided feature called “Player Editing” to be on top of NFL transaction world.

Really don’t have to wait on Kane to do it for you.

Now, not being able to affix draft picks and/or contract updates on the front end is a user functionality hopefully can be look at providing.

Yes all true , at least for franchise players , but there are two more functionalities I'd like added
                              1) some kind of mechanism the user can use to depict roster exemptions other than IR such as PUP , DNR and suspensions

                              2) user ability to edit injury and injury status , both to remove or edit those present and to create them ourselves
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon .... No matter how good you are , the bird is going to **** on the board and strut around like it won anyway .
