- When changing sliders, when you switch user/cpu, you get sent back to the top. That means, let's say you're matching foul sliders with the CPU, every time you switch between the two, you have to scroll back down from the top. Sliders have been present since 2K3, and this never happened.

- The Pregame show is in the game, but it seems Visual Concepts placed it into the random events list upon game startup. You may get the pregame show, or you may get an ad for clothing with players walking all spiffy. What a weird choice. An option to turn it off would have been better.

- Of course the obvious...all the omissions in MyGM due to adding online leaderboards to the mode.

- The inability to turn off the splash, especially from seeing your opponent (cpu or online) having those perfect shots. I personally don't like knowing if a shot is going in before it makes it to the basket.

- New additions to the game that get no explanations. Visual Concepts are pros when it comes to having everybody guess what things mean and how they work. For instance, home court advantage displays a letter grade before every game, but what does it mean? How does it affect the home team? How does it affect the away team? What benefits does a team have with an A over a D-? Nobody knows.

- MyPlayer is the worst name for the story mode. MyPlayer used to focus on you. You would be given several options in how to react to different events, and you weren't bogged down into being a whole different personality. MyPlayer has devolved into a soap opera. You're an actor in a play about basketball. It is no longer about roleplaying as yourself, or any chosen character, but roleplaying a strict script of some racially ambiguous poser that no race in the real world can relate to.
You forgot to add changing the way you call plays into this favorite series play thing. Can't take advantage of mismatches. Too much levels.
