It seems that they will always update players in +1, +2 increments. Also the fact they Tyree Jackson who can’t make an nfl roster has a higher rating then number 6 overall pick Daniel Jones. I wasn’t high on Jones but cmon.

It seems that they will always update players in +1, +2 increments. Also the fact they Tyree Jackson who can’t make an nfl roster has a higher rating then number 6 overall pick Daniel Jones. I wasn’t high on Jones but cmon.

^^^ They bumped Jones up a couple points I see but still Tyree should be a 56 tops

Ratings don't matter in Madden unless you're talking about 30-point rating differences. I've never understood why anybody cares about these updates when a change of 1 or 2 points makes no difference with gameplay. It's as if the developer is tricking some of you into thinking they're doing something meaningful. I guarantee you can do the exact same things with someone like Zeke at a 93 rating that you could with him at 94. The tiny ratings changes are useless. And anybody who complains about a 1 or 2 point difference also boggles my mind.

Rookie of the month goes up one point. Leads a comeback win against Denver. Would be 3-0 as a starter if it weren't for a failed 2 point conversion by the running back. The guy who does these ratings is a clown.

I agree with you King of Kings, in Madden as long as the said player is within that certain threshold, it doesn’t matter. An 88 juke move is just as good as an 86 juke move.

Actually, Shaq started out at 77 overall and jumped up to an 82. So he has gone up but the problem is that it isn't enough. If he was a player on a team like the Cowboys and had 9 sacks, three forced fumbles, and an interception through 4 games, he'd likely be upper 80's to low 90's and a Superstar Dev rate by now.

lol humprey goes up 1 point at last but then Thomas goes down for god knows what reason.

if someobody needs to loose points its thomas jefferson who has been the worst player on defense by far.....

cant cover or wrap up at all.

I messaged him about Alshon Jeffrey and he seemed to only go off of stats. He didn't take into account the clutch catches (like the one that set up the game-winning TD), or the fact that he has a calf strain that had him hobbling on one foot on the sideline all game.

Someone playing through injury that makes a multiple big time plays and scores a TD shouldn't go down.

The CPU still starts the higher rated player in Franchise, tho, right? That would be what would bug me. I'd want Minshew to start even if Foles was healthy. I haven't bought the game since Madden '14, so I don't know what, if anything, has changed on that front. Considering getting in when it drops to half off.

Yeah, but you can edit all player ratings in franchise mode, including the ones not on your team. So if you want Minshew to be the next Joe Montana, you can make it so. Or drop Foles to be lower rated than Minshew. Either way, you can force the CPU's hand into starting Gardner.
