Re: Some Food for Thought from Today's JAX/CAR Game
TBH, I have never had a problem if someone ran the same play on me. If I can't stop it that what he should be doing imo. The only issue I ever had with people running the same play if that play was a known exploit or OP play that year in madden. -
Re: Some Food for Thought from Today's JAX/CAR Game
The reason real coaches don't run the same play over and over is because it doesn't work is what i have always said. If any nfl coach could just call one play and win they would. This and of course the packer power sweep are examples of making the other team make you do something different. Madden won't make you do something different. Frankly, there has been a lot of bad coaching in the nfl this year. Play recognition should go up a point or two each time a play is called again to combat this in madden. Unfortunately, that would require programming for something that wouldn't be a good back of the box feature or matter to head to head players so it's unlikely to happen.Comment

Re: Some Food for Thought from Today's JAX/CAR Game
Coaches call the same plays all the time, just with different wrinkles & variations of the same play. Especially if the defense is giving you the same look. I read a few yrs back that GB ran 3 different pass plays the whole game & won the game by 2 tds. It's not rocket science, if the play is working run it until defense stops you (in real life). In Madden it's lame if it's a glitch and can't be stopped.Last edited by Darth Aegis; 10-07-2019, 07:17 PM.OS needs a Thumbs DOWN button

I remember last years SB the Patriots had a TD drive where all they did was call the same pass play five straight timesComment
