So that TLC match concerns me with the player swinging the weapon at the downed opponent and missing 4/5 times!

I honestly think the game looks pretty good. I think some of the weapon choices are questionable and I don't really like the originals but I do like the new controls and I think the game looks pretty good in general. Honestly looking forward to it.

While it looks similar to last year's game, looking at it closely there seems to be better transition animations and a general sense of where the wrestlers should be looking. Didn't see to many awkward moments of flailing around and missing moves.

I'm really looking forward to it.

From the videos today it just proves my disinterest in this year's game. They are releasing an unfinished, not polished 'UPDATE' of WWE 2K19.

Not a fan of how they handled things this year. And now unsure if I will even pick this up when it is on sale. The CAWs are fantastic on 19. The only cool thing I have seen today is the return of editing the weapon wheel and the inclusion of wacky weapons, which is cool.

This game sure has a love/hate relationship. Not talking about anyone here, but over the course of the day it's been nothing but Oh this looks great to Oh this is trash.

It's just kinda interesting to me how it's so decisive. I swear I haven't heard a single person say something like, Oh that looks pretty ok. Might try it. It's either yes, getting it, or no, I wanna burn it down.

As I've said, I loved 19, so I know I will love 20.

I absolutely love 2019, one of my favorite video games of all-time. Just wish they did more for 2020. Lots of interesting things I don't agree with, and looks a bit unpolished. Hoping they do a bit in patches for everyone to enjoy because I love reading how everyone is enjoying the game every year as to why I start a lot of topics in this area, haha.

Hopefully with 2k keeping everything in house, we get more patches and updates.

This game looks to have taken some steps back in quality. From an interview, it appears 2k had a lot on their plate, and probably didn't have enough time to get this game out properly without the help of Yukes.

This game looks to have taken some steps back in quality. From an interview, it appears 2k had a lot on their plate, and probably didn't have enough time to get this game out properly without the help of Yukes.

I don't know man. I mean where does it look like it's taken steps back? Even though Yuke's isn't co-developing. The game engine is likely almost the same. So I can't see it getting worse. If you watch the Bryan/Ciampa match, it flows really well.

Now next year will be the year we will see what 2K can do.

And I'm also wondering if next year's version will get a release on the PS5 since know that's coming out next Holiday season. I'm gonna bet on no. It will probably happen with 2K 22.

Looks awful. There is no representation of how a wrestling match flows. Awkward moves done without any context of the surroundings: ie Cena submits to fiend and he’s an inch from the ropes, 10 seconds into a match and wrestlers are pulling off end of match moves. Was looking forward to this, but sitting this one out. Looks exactly like 2k19. Promos suck, matches are like button mashing contest. This isn’t street fighter, what makes wrestling great are stories in and out of the ring

Some of those player models ... good god. My main problem last year was the gameplay and severe lack of fun factor, and it does not seem any more dynamic.

At this point pointing out how terrible the commentary is seems pointless because it's always terrible. Why do they waste their time recording it in the first place?

So many of the models took a step back from last year. From watching 2 videos from a couple of people that played in the preview event this game isn't ready and needs major work. Changing controls for no reason to character models taking step back and very little in the way of major features. I'm going to wait for a deep sale before I pick this up if I even do that.
