[WIP] 2019 PS2 NCAA 06 Rosters

Hey folks,
Thanks to the work of the community here I took the latest 360 rosters for the 2019 season and converted them with antdroid/minotauri's tools.
I had to delete several players and for this first version I went with a sledgehammer. As such, Rice has no QBs. The roster is not validated too much yet. But depth charts are re-ordered. Give this a try and let me know what you think. When I get a chance, now that I'm familiar with the tools, I will try to take a more nuanced approach to get under the player limit of 8211.
Here is a max file, then, with ncaa 06 ps2 rosters .

EDIT: I hope this is ok with @vikesfan059. No modifications or credit is claimed other than what was required to convert to ps2.

Here is v2, this time I ensured that each player I was deleting was the only player deleted at that position per team. Afterward, more players than I intended remained but this still appears to work. Rice has QBs again .
Can someone else start testing this, maybe dynasty sims? I'll be brave and start an Oregon dynasty .

I have a base roster csv file that may work and i think has every player, but i havent tested it in an actual save yet. I'll test it out sometime this week.

I attached my 2019 NCAA 06 Roster. It also has the csv file. 8280 players. It includes Western Kentucky in the csv, which isnt used in NCAA06 Div 1A rosters.

Pretty close! I'm at 8277 in the roster I posted. Cuts were done by looking for players below (I think) 65 and ensuring only the single lowest player (or random if tied) was cut from a single position on a single team. How did you pare it down?

I used to, but my PS2 is in my garage right now in a box. The PSU files should work in FreeMCboot

I didnt pare down anything. I removed teams that werent in the 06 game like Texas State, and Charlotte, and stuff. One of the last steps in the readme for the conversion tool I wrote has the numbers to remove.

Interesting, I removed the same PGID's from my file. Oh well, glad you got it sorted out! Maybe I didn't take your ranges as inclusive or something silly .

I tried taking this file and converting it to be able to use in NCAA Football 2005 by changing the BASLUS number in ps2savebuilder but when I tried to load in game it gives an error. Can 06 rosters not be converted to 2005 for some reason? I thought the roster file structures were the same for 2005 and 06?

Nah, it actually very different with the faces. It may be more, but the faces/body are different from the 06 to 12.
