Re: Almost impossible complete one pass with Matt Moore
Not specifically with Moore, but I was playing with my backups in the pre season in my Bears franchise and they were so inaccurate that they made Trubisky look like the second coming of Peyton Manning -
Re: Almost impossible complete one pass with Matt Moore
I wish instead that qbs with low awr had limitations with hot routes and audibles.
Less than 65 awr = no audibles or hot routes
Less than 70 = can flip the play
less than 75 = 2 audibles available.
less than 80 = 2 audibles and 1 hot route change
less than 85 = all 4 audbiles and 2 hot route changes
less than 90 = 3 hot routes
above 90 = everything unlocked.
That would affect how I play so much and be much more realstic than never being able to make a throw.PSN: Dalton1985

I mean obviously they aren't going to have pinpoint accuracy but to not even be in the ballpark?
When i was building my 98 speed mobile qb i drafted he couldn't complete a pass to save his life, i just ran it every other play until i got enough experience to bump my stats up.Comment

Re: Almost impossible complete one pass with Matt Moore
Yeah. It's clearly RNG and when the RNG comes up "inaccurate", the ball goes to the opposite side of the field, often straight to a defender. This becomes extremely prominent with lower rated QBs. I think it's a cheap and lazy way to add difficulty for the user. As a general rule, taking control away from the user is bad game design imo. It's frustrating to keep failing with no way to influence the outcome. At the very least, for realism's sake, these inaccurate throws should be closer to the target and their likelihood of occurring correlated to how far down the field the target is.Comment

Re: Almost impossible complete one pass with Matt Moore
They should incorporate something where low awareness QBs are not able to see the field well. Like some kind of cone... oh wait... never mind.
I actually like your idea. It is something that would directly impact the way you play the game, the way you build your franchise, and the QBs you play with. These are the kind of ideas I love listening to, instead of stuff like "we need to create our own refs on the field" or nonsense like that.

Re: Almost impossible complete one pass with Matt Moore
Madden has difficulty replicating inaccurate throws they they're either dead on or crazy misses. You don't see a lot of passes that barely miss the mark because there's so much warping when a receiver is close to the ball that alot of times they'll shift into position to get a catch animation. They should have some animations of barely misses or off the fingertips. Could help less accurate passers feel more realistic and better receivers could mitigate having a less accurate QB ala Larry Fitz by having a rating that determines how successful a WR is at adjusting to bad passes.

I like the ideas you have and would add number of reads from the snap dependent on awareness. Low rated awareness and you only have your first read open and have to manually open other reads.Comment

Re: Almost impossible complete one pass with Matt Moore
I’ve thought they need ways to add nuances and difficulty levels to the user dependent on QB ratings on top of what they have now.
