I've got the 1973-74 Bruins up against the 2017-2018 Capitals in one of my best of 7 quarter-final series. My Bruins took the opener 4-0 at the Garden as Gilles Gilbert was unbeatable for the shutout. Boston was lead by the great Bobby Orr (my all-time sports idol) as Bobby potted a goal and added two assists. The Bruins leaned on their big line of Esposito-Hodge-Cashman with Hodge opening the scoring and Espo tipping in a powerplay marker to close the scoring.
