Does the CPU ever handoff on RPOs?
I have yet to see the CPU handoff on a RPO play they call. Has anyone else seen them handoff?Tags: None -
Re: Does the CPU ever handoff on RPOs?
In a word: yes, I have seen the CPU hand the ball off on an RPO.
I'm gonna guess you play a fair amount of Cover 3 / Cover 4 without pressing? In my experience the CPU basically auto-throws the RPO if you don't align very closely with the RPO receiver pre-snap and post-snap (i.e. you align press-man presnap and have a press-man play called). -

Re: Does the CPU ever handoff on RPOs?
It’s one of my biggest gripes. I play a lot of press man and the AI still elects to pass on seemingly all RPOs.
Worst experience thus far has been in an overtime game. AI needs a Fg to win and are at my 30 yard line. Playing press man and the QB elects to throw the smoke screen. It’s a pick six and I win the game.
I’m guessing because I favor cover 1 so the eight men in the box deter them from running?Comment
