Which is considered the best NCAA game on the PS3

Scored a used PS3 for $25, need a NCAA game for it, other than 14 cuz it's like $60 and I already have it on 360. Seen several used copies of 09, i assume it was garbage since there was like 12 copies of it and none of the other years.

I would recommend '12 or '13, as they're basically the same. '11 is great on the field and I would recommend it, but it has way too many glitches and bugs, particularly concerning player progression. I believe there is a workaround, but it seemed pretty convoluted, involving the adding and subtracting of patches and/or tuners. I honestly don't remember, but it seemed like a lot.

I'd go '12. It's one of my favorites of the series, overall.

Possibly. I really don't remember. I've been playing a lot of '14 and '06, and testing the entire PS2/PS3 era of the series, so my mind is kinda turning into one big jumble of all of them.

What exactly occurred in the no huddle glitch? Only recently did I get '13 and just briefly tried it out, as it seemed like it was basically the same as '12. I've played '12 a ton, but it has been a while.

I have 04 and 06 on the PS2 and both are great but honestly 06 is my favorite, the A.I. seems a little more difficult while avoiding using cheap tactics. Havent done dynasty mode yet but from a gameplay POV I say 06 on PS2 is fantastic. I have 14 for the 360, ran across a deal I couldnt pass up, think he didnt realize the going price for it. I think I may try to locate a copy of 12 and hope it's nowhere as expensive as 14 lol

You should be able to find '12 really cheap, but there is a lot of fun to be had with '14. '14 requires quite a bit of effort to get decent gameplay, especially after you've played it for a while, but it's pretty solid overall. A favorite for many.

I have 12, 13 and 14 for PS3. I think I'm going to sell 14 to get some cash from it. 12 & 13 are both good. I think some people are starting to go up slightly on 13 though. I picked up a used PS3 a while back and got 13 for 4 dollars. Just picked up a copy of 12 for about 7 dollars. 14 is good, but I think I prefer 13 and maybe even 12. 14, they took out the team entrances. The graphics are slightly better on 14, but not hugely.

When you'd run no huddle you can't change your play from the original 3 on screen or something like that.

NCAA football 14 is the greatest game ever. I know the cost thing is major. I have to go with NCAA football 11. I had 12 and the super duper LBs could jump 12 feet high to snag passes and QB would have mass picks. I did see 14 on Mercari cheaper than ebay and such.

Have you tried 13? It seems to play decent. Plus it's fully patched vs 14. I'm seeing it starting to go for 15-20 dollars. Got a copy already, but considering picking up a backup copy while it's cheaper just in case it goes up like 14, as I don't want to be out 50-60 bucks. I paid 3.99 for my original copy. May head over to a local place over here.

If anyone is from St. Louis, check out Grumpy Bob's emporium in Maryville IL. I got a used PS3 super slim for 60 bucks with no controller(had controllers already). And 3.99 for NCAA 13. But they have stuff back to Atari, NES, Original Xbox, all types of collectibles. Neat place. Saw stuff I hadn't seen really since I was a kid.

I love 12. The LB’s thing hasn’t been an issue for me once I applied a slider set I found here. The only thing is running from the shotgun is much harder in 12. Not the way I play but if that’s your jam, 14 is much better for that.

I remember editing LB jump rating in both this and Madden in half for '12 and it helped the issue immensely.A good year for both of these games otherwise.

After 14, I'd go with:


1) 12- I think the game was more geared towards defense, and being able to recruit/use pitches against other schools was cool. I've honestly never been a fan of 14's recruiting system.

2) 11- Definitely geared more towards offense with the focus being on the different spread offenses at the time. I want to say with recruiting the phone call system was the big part...where you could see the recruit/football face change based on what you pitched or how long the phone call was. They would hang up on you lol.

I would recommend 13, but I think it had an issue with safeties not dropping far enough this the long ball being OP.
