Some nice made ! How do you test the ratings ? Therefore you need to change all ratings, potentials from the Players of the EA Roster. Or what do you mean about testing ? Can you explain ?

My testings are divided in three parts:

a) Playing offline games with the teams the created players are on with my Slider Settings which are mostly 99% based on Al_Tito's set.

b) I check the stats by simulation within a franchise season, if they are getting realistic goal and assist ratio.

c) How is the player developement coming along with re-ratings in offseason based on the different potentials and actual season Performance, so that we get realistic results in developement of certain player types.

Pospisil was one of the best players in the USHL, returning to the league as a 19-year-old. He’s an interesting player because he’s a skilled playmaker with size and a real bite to his game. Pospisil consistently made high-end passes when I watched him at the USHL level and was a driver on his line. I appreciate the physicality he plays with, but he needs to learn where the line is at times. His penalty minutes have been insane the past two seasons and he needs to bring those down to a reasonable level. His skating is OK. He’s not slow, but not quick. I’ve seen him occasionally push the pace with average speed, but I’ve seen his stride break down and lack quickness at times, too.

Observations
The Calgary Flames have signed the USPORTS Men’s Hockey Player of the Year in Luke Philp. The Canmore, AB native just finished his third season for the U of Alberta; leading the league in points for the second consecutive year. He began the year missing four games but still managed to put up electric point totals of 45 points in 24 games. These included 17 PPP, 3 SHP, and 25 at 5-on-5 so it’s evident that he is well rounded and dangerous in multiple situations. The former Kootenay Ice and Red Deer Rebel from the WHL had created quite the buzz during his draft year in 2014. He played alongside then top prospect Sam Reinhart and there was concerns about size and potential benefit from quality of line mates. He’s put those questions to rest as his creative and consistent scoring put him on the radar as a Free Agent.

He has always been a pass-first forward but had quite the breakout campaign in 2018-19; leading the team in goals (21) by a considerable margin, even with a former WHL 50-goal scorer on the roster in Cole Sanford. He’s a smart player and can adapt to multiple positions which should allow for fluid development down the line. His creativity with and without the puck combined with his competitive spirit make him as worthy of an ELC as top college free agents. He has been listed as a centre by the U of A each of the past three season but it remains to be seen if he switches to the wing when he joins Stockton Heat in the fall.

As a fantasy prospect, there are many questions as to how high he can slot in the lineup and how quickly he can adapt to a tighter-checked, tighter-structured game at the pro level. He is a bit of a project still and has some prominent draft picks to leapfrog if NHL games are in his future. Watch with curiosity. – Joel Henderson

Tier: Has a chance

Zagidulin was a quality goalie in the KHL, earning an NHL contract following his 23-year-old season as a rookie in the league. Zagidullin is not that big, but he’s 6-foot-2. He’s not that quick, but he moves around the crease well. What stands out to me is his smarts and his calmness in net. He reads the play very well, challenging at the right time and is not often out of position. He’s quick enough that if he reads a difficult pass about to happen he can get to it. There are enough physical tools for him to be a good pro. Is he an NHL goalie? I am skeptical. He’ll likely start in the AHL and we’ll see how it goes from there.

Tufte’s numbers haven’t been great in college, but I still believe in him as a player. He took positive steps in games I saw this season, and he just may take longer than Stars fans would ideally want him to. The size/skating combo is elite. He can skate with NHL players, but at 6-foot-5, his ability to barrel down the wing gives defenders nightmares. He has the skill to make some tough offensive plays and create offense in general. He’s notably inconsistent in that regard, though, and he has stretches where he’s not accomplishing much. His toolkit has so much value, though, if he can put it all together.
